Hi, with lots of big moves from teams happening, I'm going to make a post about big name players who could be cut in the team trim down before the regular season. Some quick news that the Steelers sign former Browns CB Joe Haden to a 3 year deal. Here it is:
Brock Osweiler, QB, Browns:
The once favorite/front runner to win the Browns QB job now is likely on his way out of Cleveland. Brock has pretty much no chance of staying on the Browns. He has a huge $16 million dollar annual salary which makes him such a horrible player to have on your team. Also behind starter DeShone
Kizer, the Browns have 2 decent backups in Cody Kessler and Kevin Hogan. Osweiler will either be cut or traded by the start of the season.
Jermaine Kearse, WR, Seahawks:
Kearse may be considered a great receiver for the Seahawks but he is likely also on his way out. The young receiver has never had a crazy breakout season but has always been a decent weapon for Russell Wilson who always seems to never have great stats but makes the plays that count. The Seahawks are reportedly trying to trade him but if they can't find a partner they will likely just cut him. The Seahawks are willing to do this as the rest of their receivers have stepped up lately. Doug Baldwin has turned into an elite WR1. Tyler Lockett has the speed and hands to ball out. Paul
Richardson has been insane recently and this preseason Kasen Williams has emerged. The Hawks don't need Kearse anymore and he could be on his way out the door.
Matt Jones, RB, Redskins:
Since Jones was drafted to the Redskins, everything people have been excited about for him has just gone south. Picked in the 3rd round of the 2015 draft, Jones was supposed to be a great starter for the Redskins but only 2 years onto the team, Jones has been anything but that. Jones has been benched lately and it seems like the team is picking on him and doesn't seem to like him. If the team can't find a trade partner, Jones will be cut.
Roberto Aguayo, K, Bears:
Aguayo was cut 2 weeks ago by the Bucs and will likely be cut twice in the same month. The Bucs as we all know drafted Aguayo in the 2nd round of last years draft so he would be one of the best kickers in the league. It flopped and Aguayo was probably the worst kicker in the league. After the Bucs cut him the Bears signed him to compete with starter Connor Barth to see if they could get another side out of Aguayo. They've seen the same Bucs Aguayo and he will likely be cut again.

Is Kevin White now going to be a FANTASY STUD?
Hi, today I am doing another post about a single player. Some quick news that the Chiefs trade a 4th round pick for Bills LB Reggie Ragland. Here it is:
When Kevin White was drafted 7th overall by the Bears 2 years ago in the 2015 NFL draft, he was supposed to become an elite answer to the Bears receiving problems. White was super promising and I remember being really pumped to watch him that season. Then White before the season started suffered a season ending injury and was out the whole season. That was a huge blow to his confidence. The next season, White played a little but was mostly hurt. When he did play, he wasn't very good or productive. Heading into the 2017 season with the loss in free agency of WR1 Alshon Jeffrey, White was slated to be the Bears no. 2 receiver behind 2016 breakout Cameron Meredith. As the preseason went on, Meredith kept his role as the WR1 and White the WR2, then another huge blow to the Bears came. This week in the preseason, Meredith went down with a season ending injury, almost DESTROYING completely any of the Bears chances to have a passing game. Now the Bears are scrambling to figure out what they might do. Kevin White all the sudden could be the Bears only answer. White should now assume the no. 1 receiver role in front of Kendall Wright and Victor
Cruz. White could have a chance to reboot his career here. He is now the teams no. 1 receiver and he could really do something with it. He will be Mitch Trubisky and Mike Glennon's top target. This could mean Kevin White may become a fantasy stud. Right now he is probably a free agent in your league but if you have a player you don't mind dropping, I would pick White up and bench him for a week or 2 and see what he does. Then you can decide what you want to do with him. Drop, trade, start? White could very well become a fantasy stud because he is the Bears no. 1 receiver plus he has just been hurt his whole career and his skills have not been used. White could be a breakout fantasy star. Watch out!

DeShone Kizer named Browns STARTING QB!
Hi, today I am posting about some breaking news that happened. Some quick news that the Jets sign former Patriots DE Kony Ealy. Here it is:
After the 2016-17 college football season ended, people as usual already started thinking about the upcoming draft and who the players to watch for were. One big name being discussed at the time was Notre Dame QB prospect DeShone Kizer. As the first pre-draft rankings came out, Kizer was ranked the best QB in the draft by multiple sources including the biggest one, NFL.com. Kizer did have his flaws but was thought of as a top, first round selection at QB. As it got closer to the draft, Kizer began to slide in the rankings and raw QB prospect Patrick Mahomes was started to float up. When the draft finally came, Mahomes who was once considered a second round talented had floated to a first round prospect. Kizer was now considered a 2nd rounder. Things went according to plan and Kizer went in the 2nd round...to the Browns. As we all know the Browns have had horrible QB issues in the past few seasons and every year it seems they draft or sign a good QB prospect and then it totally backfires. This time, Cleveland hoped that the trend would end when they picked Kizer. After the draft, it was talked about that the Browns were likely going to bench Kizer this season and train him up to be ready to be their future QB while recent bust QB Brock Osweiler took the reigns this season. When training camp begun, Kizer from day 1 dominated camp. He out performed backups Cody Kessler and Kevin Hogan and apparently BLEW by likely starter Brock Osweiler. Still, Osweiler was named starter of the first preseason showing. In that game, Osweiler struggled and Kizer shined. The
next week was the same, Kizer kept playing better but Osweiler was named the next preseason game starter. Finally after another star outing for Kizer and bad outing for Osweiler, coach Hue Jackson named DeShone Kizer the Browns preseason week 3 starter. Thats when all rumors got louder. It was looking like Kizer would take the starting job. Just that happened. Osweiler struggled yet again but game starter DeShone Kizer had another amazing game. Showing he could throw from all over the pocket, scramble, and make accurate throws. After the game rookie QB DeShone Kizer was named the Browns starting QB for the regular season. It looks like the Browns could have found their future. Kizer has played amazing this pre-season outperforming all the QBs picked ahead of him and is the only rookie passer who has been named a starter. Kizer could actually this time be the Browns QB of the future. It is great that the Browns are starting him. Why? Because he will only get better if he plays so throwing him in could end up helping. Also Kizer has looked great in the pre-season so he should be good in the regular season. If they try Kizer for the year and realize he is a bust or something then they can draft a QB from the upcoming draft class that is the most QB stacked that we have seen in awhile. Best case scenario Browns play Kizer early in his career so the talented player gets even better and looks like their QB of the future. Worst case
scenario, they see Kizer isn't the one and get him out instead of betting on him long term and ruining more seasons. I hope you can understand that what I'm saying is that Kizer looks really good and it only helps to start him already this early in his career. Maybe Kizer should have been the top ranked QB in the draft.

Why You now NEED to know the name Kareem Hunt
Hi, today I am doing a post about another player who you need to know about. Here it is:
Kareem Hunt is a rookie running back on the Kansas City Chiefs who you suddenly NEED to know. The 3rd round pick out of Toledo is now set for a big season after an injury to starting running back Spencer Ware. Ware and Hunt were battling for the starting RB job this pre-season but Hunt was playing very well and looks like a good player but the Chiefs sort of signaled that Ware was going to get the start. That all could have changed after last night. Ware went down with an injury last night and no one knows the extent of the injury just yet. Hunt looks like a stud so far in this pre-season and is making his case to stay the starting RB even when Ware is back but it looks like he will be 'the feature back' according to coach Andy Reid while Ware is hurt. This seems like its a great situation for Hunt. As history has it, a starting running back usually goes down with an injury and leaves a random rookie in the spotlight while he was gone only to realize the rookie running back is an
amazing stud and then its his starting job not the former starters. This seems like it could happen with Hunt. Again, Hunt is a stud who looks better than Ware already and since he will have the spotlight behind the Chiefs great O-line while Ware is gone, it could be Hunt's backfield by the time Ware returns. As far as for a fantasy prospect you should definetly GRAB Hunt as soon as it makes sense. He will probably be a fantasy stud sort of like how Jordan Howard was in Jeremy Langford's absence last year. Another thing about Howard and Langford is that Langford did the spotlight steal 2 years ago from Matt Forte and then Howard stole Langford's spotlight while Langford was gone. 2 years in a row Bears RB's stole jobs from each other. Hunt will be the next spotlight steal as he looks like he will be a great playmaker in the backfield for this elite Chiefs team.
In other news:
-Patriots star WR Julian Edleman out for the season with a torn ACL
-Jaguars QB Blake Bortles named teams starting QB
-49ers release veteran LB Ahmad Brooks

Could Dede Westbrook be a Deep Fantasy Sleeper?
Hi, sorry that I haven't posted in awhile, I've been busy lately. I know there is a lot of position battle news and stuff but today I am making a post about an intriguing rookie receiver named Dede Westbrook, here it is:
Dede Westbrook may not be a name most NFL fans know, but if you watched college football last season you definitely know who Westbrook is. The similar to Tyreek Hill receiver was amazing last season in college and was in the heisman running. His legal troubles set him back in the draft though making him plummet into the 4th round where the Jags snagged him. I always since he got drafted kept his name in the back of my mind for like fantasy sleeper purpose and stuff and when Westbrook played well the first 2 weeks of the pre-season, I made sure to start thinking about him again. Westbrook could be the rookie sleeper of the year in football and could become fantasy football relevant. If he keeps playing the way he's been playing he could work his way into the starting lineup. If Westbrook works his way into the starting lineup he will become an offensive stud for the Jags. While the Jags have a complicated, undecided QB situation, having Westbrook in the starting lineup could end up actually really helping whoever it is. Anyways focusing on the fantasy aspect, picking
Westbrook in the final round of the draft couldn't hurt. The upside is you may get an explosive rookie playmaker that could explode onto the scene. The downside is he gets like a point a game and is bad and then you can just drop him. I think it is a good risk/reward. I have my fantasy draft coming up and I will probably take Westbrook in the final round. Westbrook will have to work his way into the lineup though like I said earlier. Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns are a lock for WR1 and 2. Marquise Lee is likely the next receiver up but he had an injury that I don't know the status of which could give Westbrook a chance to shine and try and take the WR3/4 slot receiver role. You again might not know who Westbrook is but getting to know him before he explodes is going to help you a lot. He definitely reminds me of Tyreek Hill and I think he could end up playing that well!

UPDATED Defensive Rookie of the Year Candidates
Hi, today I am doing an updated DROY candidates post. Some quick news that the Broncos name Trevor Siemian starting QB. Here it is:
1. Myles Garrett, DE, Browns:
This is the obvious front runner. When any defender, let alone any non QB is picked no. 1 overall, they likely are the favorite to win the ROY award and its the same here. Garrett is not only a freak athlete but he is a super skilled defensive end. He could be a pro bowler in year 1 and is already a starter. He has a great division of QBs to sack. Watch him also in the sack leader race. This guy has almost everything, making it pretty hard for him to be another Browns bust.
2. Jamal Adams, S, Jets:
The top 2 front runners for DROY are almost the same for everyone. Adams could have been the 2nd best overall player in the draft and somehow he fell 6th to the lucky Jets. Adams has everything it takes to become one of the next great safeties in football. He is a hard hitter, a great athlete, and was just great in college. It also only helps that he is the lone star defender in this teams cornerback/safety room.
3. T.J. Watt, LB, Steelers:
Watt has emerged as a contender for this award so far in this pre-season. In his debut he already had 2 sacks! 2! Thats amazing. He has also been a great tackler this pre-season for the Steelers. I can see him starting and since he is also JJ Watt's brother which can only help and make it a more intriguing story. Watt will be great and avenge the family name and winning DROY would make his hype even bigger!
4. Taco Charlton, DE, Cowboys:
The huge Taco Charlton as the favorite for DROY hype has died down a lot but I still think Charlton has a great shot at the award. Charlton is a great pass rusher on a Cowboys team that has a mediocre pass rush. Charlton could change the mentality and make the Cowboys a great team defense.
5. Marshon Lattimore, CB, Saints:
I thought the Saints may have gotten the biggest steal of round 1. I projected Lattimore, the top CB in the draft, to go no. 3 overall to the Bears. With QBs and WRs flying off the board, the Saints STOLE Lattimore all the way at pick 11. That was quite the steal. Lattimore will give the Saints finally a lockdown corner who will be the immediate star of that defense. Lattimore could lead the league in interceptions in year 1. I can see it.
Other candidates: Malik Hooker S Colts, Soloman Thomas DE 49ers, Obi Melifonwu S Raiders

UPDATED Offensive Rookie of the Year Candidates
Hi, today I am doing a post about which players I think could win Offensive Rookie of the Year. I will likely do a DROY post too coming soon. Some quick but big news future hall of fame WR Anquan Boldin retires after 14 seasons. Here it is:
1. Leonard Fournette, RB, Jaguars:
The 4th overall pick in an overwhelming favorite to win OROY and I agree. I've heard he will split some carries at the start but once the Jags fully realize how amazing he is, he will start and play well. Even though the Jags have no where close to as good as Ezekiel Elliott's Cowboy offensive line, I think Fournette could have Zeke like success in his rookie year. Fournette is not only a big running back, but he's got SPEED and again, thats rare for a running back to have both of those traits which puts him in a good position to do well. He is my no. 1 to win the award but the whole splitting carries thing could drag him down, to win the award he will need to break away from that.
2. Deshaun Watson, QB, Texans:
Sure there are some better, more versatile offensive rookies like Christian McCaffrey but the fact that the 12th overall pick is a QB gives him an unfair advantage. When a rookie QB starts, he is pretty much automaticly a favorite to win the award. Why? Because QBs touch the ball every offensive plays and they are the center of their offense obviously. Watson is a great QB and doesn't walk into the starting job though. He will have to beat out Tom Savage for the job but whether thats in the pre-season or at some point in the season, Watson will get an unfair advantage if he starts because good rookie QBs usually win the award. Watson is a very talented QB that if he starts, will have a great shot at rookie of the year.
3. Christian McCaffrey, RB, Panthers:
McCaffrey could become one of the best players in football because of his speed, able to run and juke, and the ability to catch even though he is an RB. Some people even called McCaffrey a wide receiver even though he is a running back. Everyone knows how good McCaffrey's game is and he could become one of the most DANGEROUS players in the league. I mean he will be the Panthers starting RB and will take pressure off targeted QB Cam Newton. He not only will be the one to take pressure off Newton in the run game, but McCaffrey will also be a viable receiver for Cam Newton. McCaffrey's got big game, and he will have a huge impact as a rookie.
4. Dalvin Cook, RB, Vikings:
Some people are huge on Dalvin Cook. While I am not one of those people who thinks Cook is insane I do think he will be good and will have a nice shot at offensive rookie of the year. Its crazy to think that Cook will be the one to take Adrian Peterson's place after so many years with Peterson. Cook was once considered a top 10, elite prospect but after legal issues fell to the 2nd round (to the Vikings delight). Cook is super talented as a running back and will make a huge impact on the Vikings run game. Since the Vikings don't have many good receivers, Cook will be used a lot to get them nice yardage gains. I think Cook will be explosive in year one and has a great shot at the big award.
5. Joe Mixon, RB, Bengals:
While he doesn't totally have the starting job yet, he is widely expected to earn the job by the start of the season and I totally agree. He would have been an elite first round pick if teams didn't know his illegal past but now the star seems to have learned and seems humbled. The 2nd round pick was explosive in college and if and when he wins the starting job he should make a huge instant impact. The Bengals do have a nice pass game but they need a nice run game to complement it and with Mixon the Bengals may finally have their combination. This was a great pick by the Bengals and Mixon should have a great year.
6. DeShone Kizer, QB, Browns:
He is only relevant in this award race if he can win the starting job which he is making a strong case to do. Kizer has impressed in camp and had an amazing preseason game last week in his NFL debut. It looks like the Browns may have possibly found their QB of the future. While he wasn't supposed to play much to at all this season and learn, with his strong push to win the job it could happen. How good to the Browns think Brock Osweiler can even be? Kizer has a chance to win the job and if he does, he will move quickly up this list and could possibly win the award.
7. Zay Jones, WR, Bills:
I'm really high on Zay Jones. He will be the Bills WR1 or WR2 in front or behind Jordan Matthews. He looked really good in his last year of college and he balled out making him a known receiver. He will be perfect for a pass needy Bills football team. Tyrod Taylor is getting better and better but needs good receivers around him and with Jones around, Taylor should have someone amazing to target a lot! Jones has a shot.
Thanks for reading!
Just missed list: Samjae Perine RB Redskins, Corey Davis WR Titans, John Ross WR Bengals, OJ Howard TE Bucs, Evan Engram TE Giants, Dede Westbrook WR Jaguars
BREAKING: ELLIOTT SUSPENDED, TANNEHILL DONE, WATKINS TRADED!
Hi, a lot of crazy news just happened and I'm going to talk about it all:
Ezekiel Elliott Suspension:
Zeke was finally suspended. But not just 2 games or even 4 games, he got a huge 6 game suspension. Zeke is a huge player for this Cowboys team and now they may not be able to make the playoffs while they currently are only on the bubble and that was WITH Zeke, now that he's gone America's Team may not make the playoffs. This is also huge for Zeke. He will now not have much of a shot at the rushing title again. Dak Prescott may not be able to fare on his own as teams now have had a whole off-season to a prepare attacking him. Now Alfred Morris and Darren McFadden will assume most of the rushing. Both will get a lot of touches. This is a huge blow for this team but they will have to find a way to carry on without Zeke.
Ryan Tannehill Out for the Season:
When Dolphins starting QB Ryan Tannehill's knee buckled in practice last week, it sent the Dolphins into a state of shock. Even though no one knew the severity of the injury, the Fins' rushed to find a replacement and lured QB Jay Cutler out of retirement. Now we have heard the news that Tannehill will be out for the season with an ACL injury. Jay Cutler will be the man in Miami at least for this season while on a 1 year deal. While both QBs aren't very good, it will be interesting to see a change for this Dolphins offense with Jay Cutler at the helm. He has some of the best targets of his career along with his former offensive coordinator who now is the Dolphins coach Adam Gase. When playing under Gase formerly, Cutler had his best season yet. With Tannehill out for the season, Jay Cutler will be the QB in Miami and thats that.
Sammy Watkins Traded out of Nowhere to the Rams:
A huge trade came this week and no one saw it coming. Sammy Watkins, the Bills star receiver has been traded to the receiver needy Rams for CB EJ Gaines and a 2nd round pick. This deal will work out for Watkins. He should be better in L.A. than he was in Buffalo. Watkins didn't play enough in Buffalo and when he did it feels like he didn't get targeted enough. Now he will be the one star playmaker in this receiving core and the Rams will target him A LOT! The Bills made a stupid move where they traded a star player for pretty much nothing. Watkins will be balling in LA and they will wish Tyrod Taylor still had his premier target.
Roberto Aguayo Cut by Bucs...then signed by Bears:
This has been quite a ride for former Bucs kicker Roberto Aguayo. One of the best kickers ever in college football (in fact the most accurate kicker EVER in college) got picked by the Bucs in the 2nd round of the draft. That is insanely high for a kicker. The Bucs even traded up for him. Then he had huge confidence issues in year one. He was absoulutely TERRIBLE and had the worst field goal percentage in the entire NFL season. At the start of this off-season, the Bucs signed kicker Nick Folk to give Aguayo competition and they hoped he would spark something in Aguayo...nope! In his first preseason game of this season, Aguayo missed two field goals. TWO! Thats crazy. Some NFL kickers don't even miss 2 kicks their entire season. Aguayo wasn't given a 3rd chance. He was released after the game. Now he is on the Bears competing for the starting kicker job and has been given a 2nd chance. If he continues to play like he has, he won't make the team by the end of the preseason but if he can turn things around, he will play kicker in Chicago this year!
Thanks for reading some crazy news of late.

My 2017 Breakout Teams
Hi, today I am talking about teams that I think will break out from bad/decent seasons last year to a GREAT season this year. Some quick news that the Dolphins sign QB Jay Culter to a 1-year/10 million dollar deal. Here it is:
Jacksonville Jaguars
2016 Record: 3-13, 2017 Prediction: 9+ wins
Biggest/Best Off-Season Move: Drafting RB Leonard Fournette 4th overall
For the past 2 seasons, the Jags have made a lot of big off-season moves and last year were my off-season Super Bowl prediction. They ended up winning only 3 games. This off-season they yet again have made some huge moves. They signed two mega stars in DE Calais Campbell and CB A.J. Bouye. They drafted RB Leonard Fournette 4th overall and I think he will have Ezekiel Elliott type success. Thats right! Thats why I put Fournette as the biggest off-season move over Campbell or Bouye's signings. The Jags aced their draft getting stars Fournette, 2nd round O-lineman star Cam Robinson, and speedster Heisman candidate WR Dede Westbrook. The Jags have a young team that could shoot up to the top but they need inconsistent QB Blake Bortles to play as well as he did in 2015.
Tennessee Titans
2016 Record: 9-7, 2017 Prediction: 9+ Wins
Biggest/Best Off-Season Move: Drafting WR Corey Davis 5th overall
The Titans didn't make that many moves this off-season but they did take Davis 5th overall which was the biggest. While I thought they should have picked S Jamal Adams, the Davis pick will likely pan out well for a receiver needy team that is now stocked with Davis, Eric Decker, and Rishard Matthews. The Titans deserved the division last season but breakout elite stud Marcus Mariota got hurt ending his season right then and there in week 16. DeMarco Murray and Derrick Henry make a top notch backfield and their O-line has tons of stars. Their D has also gotten a lot better with the addition of Adoree' Jackson and Logan Ryan. Jurrell Casey signed a big extension. The Titans will probably make the playoffs this next season in one of the most up and coming divisions in football.
Cleveland Browns
2016 Record: 1-16, Prediction: 6+ Wins
Biggest /Best Off-Season Move: Drafting DE Myles Garrett 1st overall
The Browns had one of the best off-seasons that they've had in awhile. They picked up a bunch of new studs that will make them get better year by year, slowly but surely. This coming year I see them winning like 7 games, but as their young players improve, the team will start winning more and more. Garrett already looks like a freak of nature. Jabrill Peppers was a steal late in the first round and will provide a great safety role. David Njoku was also a steal late in the first round and will make life easier for whatever QB the Browns use. 2nd round pick DeShone Kizer is making a great case to start at QB and I hope he does. He was a first round talent QB that slipped out of the first round due to the incline of the Patrick Mahomes hype. Corey Coleman will be a great WR1 in year 2. The Browns O-line looks REALLY good and will be able to protect whatever QB is starting. Jamie Collins was a steal of a trade last season and it was amazing that they locked up the elite LB to a huge long deal. He will be a cornerstone for this team. The Browns are slowly going to move along and become a better team! With the moves they made this off-season, they really can't do any worse.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
2016 Record: 9-7, Prediction: 9+ Wins
Biggest/Best Off-Season Move: Drafting TE OJ Howard 19th overall
The Bucs only made a few notable off-season moves, but stealing freak athlete OJ Howard that late in the first round was huge. The Bucs didn't 100% need a new tight end but Cameron Brate isn't that good and if someone that good is available that late, they need to pick him. He was a top 10 talent. Howard will make a big impact on this passing Bucs team that should make the playoffs this year. Jameis Winston was very good in year 2 and looks like a franchise QB. His play where he ran back and forth and all around and finally completing a pass to Mike Evans was awesome. The running game will be somewhat random in a mix of Doug Martin, Jaquizz Rodgers, and Charles Sims but thats not what matters. The Bucs passing game will be amazing. Jameis Winston throwing to Mike Evans (a top 5 receiver), Desean Jackson (a explosive free agent signing), Chris Godwin (a 3rd round pick the team was VERY interested in), and OJ Howard. The defense needs a lot of work but they have some cornerstones in Lavonte David, Gerald McCoy, and Vernon Hargreaves. Their offense will be enough to get them into the playoffs and this team will BREAK out!
Philly Eagles
2016 Record: 7-9, Prediction: 8+ Wins
Biggest/Best Off-Season Move: Signing WR Alshon Jeffrey
The Eagles didn't make any HUGE moves, but LeGarrette Blount was a big signing. He lead the league in rushing TDs last season and was a barreling player. He will be a great addition to a team with needs in a running game. Carson Wentz is the biggest and best player on the team. He will be a franchise QB after having such a great rookie year he will have more success after signing elite receiver Alshon Jeffrey which was the biggest move of the off-season for the Eagles. The offense will be great with Jeffrey, Blount, and Wentz leading. The D is mediocre but Fletcher Cox is a great player that can make players around him better. The Derek Barnett first round pick was great and will make a difference. The Eagles could be close to making the playoffs this year!
Houston Texans
2016 Record: 9-7, Prediction: 9+ Wins
Biggest/Best Off-Season Move: Drafting QB Deshaun Watson 12th overall
The Texans made one of the biggest trade ups we've seen lately, going from spot 26 to spot 12 to select their QB of the future. I thought that the Deshaun Watson pick was one of the best picks in the draft. The Texans know they need a QB for the future and taking Deshaun Watson sets them up with their franchise QB. Watson is just a winner. He is coming off a National Championship winning season where he played REALLY well. Anyways he will be good this year and maybe win ROY. The rest of the offense is great. They have a running game in Lamar Miller and rookie Heisman candidate D'Onta Foreman. The receiving corps took a blow with the Will Fuller collarbone injury but they still have DeAndre Hopkins who is a true no. 1 wideout. The O-line is also good enough to work out. The defense is going to be EVEN better than they were last year when they were ranked NUMBER ONE! 3 Time-Defensive Player of the Year winner JJ Watt is going to be back which is huge. 2014 1st overall pick Jadeveon Clowney isn't a bust anymore after having a breakout year in which he made the pro bowl. The Texans also have good linebackers like Benardrick McKinney. The cornerback room will be a tossup without AJ Bouye but it will work. This Texans team made it to the Divsional Playoff round last year which is good but they only did because of an injured Raider team. The Texans can actually be contenders this season!
Carolina Panthers
2016 Record: 6-10, Prediction: 7+ Wins
Biggest/Best Off-Season Move: Drafting RB Christian McCaffrey 8th overall
Drafting McCaffrey will be a HUGE help. He is an all around stud. He will soon if not right away replace Jonathan Stewart as the teams starting RB and even while starting at RB, McCaffrey will play a lot of receiver! He is one of the fastest players we've seen lately and he can juke, truck, and speed pass. McCaffrey is a huge deal that will be huge for the Panthers. Cam Newton had a down year after his MVP performance and we all saw it coming. He will be better this year though because of the help of McCaffrey and 2nd round pick RB/WR Curtis Samuel. Also the Panthers have Greg Olsen and Kelvin Benjamin, 2 premier pass catchers. The D will be interesting...The cornerbacks are really unproven but they aren't great and it could lead to problems. The rest of the D is pretty good. Thomas Davis is going to be good even though he is old. Luke Kuechly is a former defensive player of the year who is always a stud. Kawaan Short is an underrated stud that could breakout as a DPOY candidate. The Panthers will improve and I think the Christian McCaffrey draft pick will prove as one of the biggest helps.
San Diego Chargers
2016 Record: 5-11, Prediction: 7+ Wins
Biggest/Best Off-Season Move: Drafting WR Mike Williams 7th overall
Mike Williams could possibly miss his ENTIRE rookie season which would be a huge bust for this team but when he does come back, he will be huge for this teams passing game. Keenan Allen will be a huge help for Phillip Rivers if he can stay healthy. I think he will. I'm still determining if he is elite anymore because of all of his injuries. Tyrell Williams was a breakout 1000 yard receiver last season but he won't do much if Keenan Allen and Mike Williams are in play. I personally think Mike Williams won't play much this year because of his injury so Tyrell will get some play. Thee O-line is patchwork and needs some help after the huge blow of losing Forrest Lamp. QB Phillip Rivers doesn't seem like he will be bad because of his age this season. I think he will be quality again. Melvin Gordon proved to be an elite RB last season and they can rely on him to lead the ground game. The defense looks good. The cornerback room is excellent. Jason Verrett is a superstar and it will be great to have him back after he was gone last season with injury. Casey Hayward was insane out of nowhere last season and gives the team a second elite corner. Melvin Ingram will need money soon but for now he is good on his small deal. Joey Bosa is one of the most promising young defenders in the league. After holding out for a contract for the first 4 games this season, Bosa still racked up 10+ sacks and won DROY. If he hadn't missed those 4 games he could have lead the league in sacks and potentially even won Defensive Player of the Year. The Chargers have a lot of pieces in place for a good season and they will breakout.

Will Jay Cutler Sign with the Dolphins? + Other Training Camp News!
Hi, an exciting rumor has surfaced and I'm going to be talking about it. Also I will be writing some training camp news after that. Here it is:
The last few seasons of former Bears QB Jay Cutler's career were pretty miserable. He played poorly and had injury after injury after injury. Last season, Cutler was playing decently and then the usual happened, Cutler got hurt. He was out a few weeks but when he came back, he was decent again until another injury put him out for the season. Cutler was then released after the season and a few weeks later retired because no team wanted to sign him. He is now supposed to be a broadcaster up in the booth but now rumors are surfacing of a Cutler to Miami marriage. When starting QB Ryan Tannehill came down with a severe looking injury in camp this week, panic arose from Miami. People starting making lists of replacements for Tannehill if the injury is serious and it looks like it could be. While we are not totally sure yet of the severity of Tannehill's injury, the Fins' are ready to find his replacement and according to sources, Cutler is their no. 1 for who they want to sign. This could be interesting. If the Fins' can sign Cutler out of retirement he could possibly start. If Tannehill isn't ready for the start of the season and Cutler is signed, he will likely start. If Tannehill comes back some point during the season, Jay Cutler could potentially challenge him for the starting job. While I would want Colin Kaepernick over Cutler if I were the Dolphins, they are set on Cutler for some reason. They have already talked to some of Cutler's representatives and are starting to strongly consider signing Cutler. This is all I really have on the situation right now but I will make sure to write if something happens. This is definitely possible!
Training Camp News:
1. Browns rookie 2nd round pick, QB DeShone Keizer reportedly shining in training camp and blowing past Cody Kessler and Brock Osweiler for the starting job.
2. Chargers rookie 2nd round pick, O-lineman Forrest Lamp tears ACL and ruled out for the season. That's a big blow for the Chargers as Lamp was going to be a great help on the O-line.
3. Browns 1st overall pick Myles Garrett reportedly very impressive in camp. Getting praise from teammates and other people saying that he looks like he is going to be something special!
Thanks for reading all of this news.

Potential Good Landing Spots for Colin Kapernick
Hi, I'm still super excited to watch the first football game of the season tonight...the hall of fame game, but I just made a post about that so I don't have to talk about it. Today I am going to write the teams I think could still sign Colin Kapernick that he would be good for. Here it is:
Baltimore Ravens:
This is the most obvious option and it could happen! These other ones are just rumors and good fits but there has been actual talk about the Ravens signing him. With starting QB Joe Flacco going down with a back injury that will have him coming back right before the regular season and Ryan Mallett the backup sucking and getting hurt, Kap would be a good backup option that the Ravens are strongly considering. He could be a top notch backup for injury prone Joe Flacco. I would love to see this happen because in the event of an injury, Kap would get his chance!
Miami Dolphins:
This could also be one of the only teams that Kap could actually sign with. Starter Ryan Tannehill came down with a knee injury today and we don't know what it is yet but if it is something notable, Kap would be a top choice. Tannehill gets hurt a lot and he isn't even that great of a QB so signing Kap could be good in the event of a bad Tannehill injury or if he is playing badly they could put Kap in the starting lineup. It would be fun to see Kap on the Fins'!
New York Jets:
Now diving into the less-likely options, Kap has always been rumored to possibly go to the QB struggling Jets who are the favorite to have the no. 1 pick in the draft next year. They are likely starting horrible veteran Josh McCown. If the Jets want a chance, they could sign Kap, who would likely beat out the competition and become the starter. If the Jets were to shockingly pull the trigger on a Kap signing, he could actually have a chance at the starting job.
Los Angeles Rams:
The Rams are in a tough spot. Jared Goff could be a project that the Rams are almost ready to give up on after the season if he is bad and in-experienced Sean Mannion could even be thrust into play. This is a scenario that would shock a lot of people. Kap could be used well here. He could start until the Rams are ready for Goff and I think he could be a good placeholder starter until the team wants to find out what to do. One of the worst QB situations in the league could turn to Kap.
Jacksonville Jaguars:
If Kap was signed in the next week or 2 by the Jags, he could come in and take the starting job from Blake Bortles. Inconsistent Blake Bortles has been questioned in Jacksonville and if the team wants a good insurance for Blake Bortles if he gets hurt or stinks it could be Kap. He could be put into action so Bortles could take a break if he stinks. It could be a smart move for the team.
Arizona Cardinals:
The Cards may be the only other option other than these teams. Carson Palmer regressed last season, probably because of his growing age. This is likely his last year. If he is bad the Cards might want some good insurance in Kap. Kap could provide an excellent backup for if Palmer gets hurt or plays poorly. This likely wouldn't happen but its an option.
Thanks for reading, Kap's no. 1 option is likely the Dolphins out of these teams.

Hall of Fame Game!!! Football Coming!
Hi, tomorrow, August 3rd, the NFL football drought will end. The first pre-season game (a.k.a. the Hall of the game) is happening! This isn't going to be a long post but I'm just informing you about it. Also with the season coming close, the posts will start coming back! Here it is:
Cardinals Vs. Cowboys:
These are the teams squaring off. While the Cardinals said they aren't using any starters, we still aren't sure about the Boys'. We know we won't see much from the starters but possibly a play or two? This is exciting even though its boring backups, its FOOTBALL!!! The Boys' will likely win but it doesn't matter at all!
The game will be on at 5:00 pacific time!
Thanks for reading about the first game in awhile!!
