Breaking News for the 49ers!

Colin Kapernick has had a terrible season and the week before the 49ers BYE (which was last week) the 49ers started backup QB Blaine Gabbert because of how bad Kapernick has been playing. Now Gabbert will start the rest of the season because today Colin Kapernick was put on season ending IR (injury reserve) because of a shoulder injury he has fought through since week 4. Now it is official that Kapernick is out for the season and it looks like the 49ers won't sign him another contract next year and they will probably be able to get a new starting QB out of the 2016 draft.
