What went down: What a week! Lets kick it off with the un-defeated teams. Last week the Ravens, Eagles, Vikings, Patriots, and Broncos were un-defeated. Now only 3 remain un-defeated. The Patriots and the Ravens both had terrible losses this week that took away their dreams of an un-defeated season.
The Colts vs. Jaguars game was very important for them to win so they finally had a win. Both teams are now 1-3. The Panthers are looking like their pre-2015 team again who can't win games even with such a great squad. They are now in a 3 way tie for the 2nd spot in the division with the Falcons 3-1 up by 2 games. Cam Newton suffered a concussion in the 4th quarter and his game this week is in trouble. If the Panthers had won they would be the no. 1 in their division just like the Rams stayed with a crazy win vs the Cardinals. The Cardinals are another team who looked lost and them and the Panthers are both coming off NFC championship seasons. Cardinals QB Carson Palmer suffered a hit to the head and went into concussion protocol and we are waiting to hear if he will play this coming week. The Rams are winning the division at 3-1 but the Seahawks are also 3-1 going into their BYE week, making it tough for the Rams to stay on top. The Bears had a clutch needed win over the Lions and with starting QB Jay Culter out, former Texans starter Brian Hoyer stepped in and played pretty well. Bears coach John Fox hinted that Brian Hoyer will probably keep the starting job. Anticipated rookie Jordan Howard had a great game too. The Bills looked great in their win over the once un-defeated Patriots but with Tom Brady back this week, the Pats shouldn't be too worried. The Broncos once again look like the best team in the league, holding back the promising Buccaneers. Broncos good starting QB Trevor Siemian left the game with a shoulder injury and his status is in question. The Broncos started rookie first round pick Paxton Lynch who held the Broncos win. Bucs Coach Dirk Koetter says he was worried about Jameis Winston's play. After a year and some Winston is still throwing picks again and again and coach is worried. The same thing is happening in New York with the Jets. Ryan Fitzpatrick had 3 interceptions and one fumble this week against the roaring Seahawks who had an awesome bounce back game. Russell Wilson looked amazing even with his injuries and Jimmy Graham had an elite week catching a bunch of balls for over 100 yards. Richard Sherman had 2 interceptions. The Steelers roared back from their embarasing loss to the Eagles with a 43 to 14 win over the Chiefs. Le'Veon Bell had an amazing come back game for playing for the first time in over a year. Big Ben looked awesome. The Giants had a chance to beat the Vikings but blew it. Odell Beckham looked horrible and so did Eli Manning. The Vikings great O and no. 1 D destroyed the Giants to stay un-beaten. The Cowboys had a great game, Ezekiel Elliott played amazingly and so did Dak Prescott. Carlos Hyde played well on the 49ers. The Browns should be worried, they are the only team who hasn't won a single game yet. The Redskins played well on them especially Jordan Reed and Josh Norman. The Titans played well again even though they lost. DeMarco Murray looks like his Offensive Player of the Year self again! The Texans edged them out though. Rookie WR Will Fuller has been playing SUPER well and is looking right now like the number 1 bet to win offensive rookie of the year. The Chargers lost yet again while the Saints picked up their first win. Saints fullback John Kuhn was the game MVP and scored 3 TDs! Melvin Gordon played really well on the Chargers and is looking better than Todd Gurley who is having a bust 2nd season while Gordon is having a breakout. The Ravens again ditched running back Justin Forsett and he will now be looking for a new home. WHAT A CRAZY WEEK! I will have new posts coming up soon! Thanks for reading.
