Winners of the Week, Week 8

Hi, here is my weekly winners of the week post. Some quick news that the Panthers trade WR Kelvin Benjamin to Bills and the Dolphins trade RB Jay Ajayi to the Eagles. Here it is:

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Russell Wilson, QB, Seahawks
Statline: 452 yards, 4 TD, 1 INT passing, 30 rush yards
I don't even know where to start with how good Russ's performance was this week. Wilson had an INSANE INSANE game and he deserves player of the week. With a tough match-up against the Texans on tap, Wilson had a very good game that helped the Seahawks to their monster 41-38 win over the Texans. Wilson made EVERY throw. Well not actually but thats how it seemed. 452 yards is a lot and most of those balls were deep beauties falling right into the hands of either Paul Richardson (6 rec, 105 yards, 2 TDs), Tyler Lockett (6 rec, 121 yards), or Jimmy Graham (4 rec, 39 yards, 2 TDs). And minus Wilson's 30 rush yards, the Hawks would only have 1 rush yard. ONE! That is NOTHING and embarrassing. Also with the Hawks bad o-line, Wilson kept having to run around the pocket but he delivered every through. He spun out of tackles, run for big games, and made beautiful throws. Then Wilson threw what seemed to be the game ending pick right near the end to keep the Texans at a 38-34 lead. Then the Hawks got the ball back and under HUGE pressure with 21 seconds left Wilson strung up a series of beautiful pass plays first to Paul Richardson then a big 20 yard TD pass right to Jimmy Graham to win the game. Under pressure against a great opponent, Wilson had a game to remember. Wilson has won player of the week on my blog!

TEAM OF THE WEEK: Seattle Seahawks (5-2)
Final Score: Seahawks 41, Texans 38
Don't call me bias but the Seahawks are easily my team of the week. Even though the Seahawks happen to be my favorite team, if I wasn't a Hawks fan I genuinely would have picked the Seahawks and Russell Wilson as my team and player of the week. You know I can't be bias because I have the blog where I have to talk about every team fairly. But the Seahawks had a hell of a win. We already know that Russell Wilson had a great game so I don't even have to touch on that because I already explained how well he did. The Seahawks receivers played so well. Week after week Paul Richardson is really starting to look like a viable WR2/3 for the Seahawks who they can rely on every deep throw. The guy makes every catch. Tyler Lockett had an insane game. 120 receiving yards on only 6 catches. Despite trade rumors, Jimmy Graham had a heckuva game. Doug Baldwin's stats don't quite show it but he makes every catch when the Hawks need it. The Seahawks O-line also held up pretty well and they should be SO excited because they just aqquired elite O-lineman Duane Brown right before the trade deadline. He will help. Now lets talk about the Hawks D. While they ended up letting up a lot of points, they also had an insanely good showing. Richard Sherman was tested and got beat a few times but ended up with 2 huge interceptions. One that sealed the game and one that helped. Earl Thomas did get beat by Will Fuller like once but answered with a HUGE pick 6. New signing DE Dwight Freeney even made moves. He had a sack and could have had a forced fumble if the dumb ref didn't accidentally touch the ball. The Seahawks run game minus Russell Wilson only had 1 yard which is unbelievably embarrassing and will need to be worked on but the Hawks entire team played SUPER well and it won them team of the week honors on my blog.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK Honorable Mentions:
Deshaun Watson, QB, Texans: 402 yards, 4 TDs, 3 INT
DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Texans: 224 yards, 1 TD
Will Fuller, WR, Texans: 125 yards, 2 TDs

TEAM OF THE WEEK Honorable Mentions:
Philadelphia Eagles (7-1)

Winners of the Week, Week 7

Hi, here is my winners of the week post. Some quick news that the Dolphins release CB Byron Maxwell:

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Eddie Jackson, S, Bears
Statline: 1 fumble recovery for a 75 TD, 1 INT for a 75 yard TD:
Eddie Jackson is a player I don't think I've ever talked about on my blog. I don't think I even knew who he was before this week. I don't think you guys did either. Now he's sitting at the top of the week as he wins player of the week for my blog. Jackson, a rookie safety drafted by the Bears in the 4th round of this years draft, won the starting S job earlier this year. Now it's looking like a pretty good decision for the Bears. Jackson set an NFL record. The first player in NFL HISTORY to have two 75+ yard touchdowns on defense in a single game. Thats a crazy record to own as a rookie that no one knew about until now. Jackson's first touchdown came from a fumble near the Bears own end zone. It was a pass to Curtis Samuel, Samuel bobbled it and then dropped it. A bunch of Bears went
to the ground and the ball eventually came out to the open. Jackson scooped it up and dodged a tackle. Then he ran and ran and ran 75 yards to score the first touchdown of the game. Later on in the game, Cam Newton passed the ball to Kelvin Benjamin, a Bears player hit it up and Jackson went running and grabbed the interception out of the air and sped to the endzone. 76 yards. TOUCHDOWN and an NFL record. Jackson scored the only touchdowns of that game. Crazy enough that they were both defensive touchdowns but even crazier that they both went for 75+ yards. Jackson has a new NFL record and he is the first defensive player this year to win my blogs player of the week! What a game for Jackson!

TEAM OF THE WEEK: Oakland Raiders (3-4)
Final Score: Raiders 31, Chiefs 30
While their record isn't great, their last game was. The Raiders who would be completely out likely if they had lost this one made a huge upset over a great Chiefs team. The Raiders had a huge win. It started with Amari Cooper. Cooper had an insane, player of the week nominee performance. Derek Carr had a great game also. He threw for a nice game. The run game was an issue as Marshawn Lynch got ejected and suspended. The defense played alright. They gave up some big plays in this high scoring affair to Alex Smith but they did what they had to do. What it came down to was a two minute drill that Derek Carr is just so good at. With :00 seconds left on the clock, the Raiders had one free play. If they didn't score a TD they would lose. Derek Carr got the ball and rolled out and then threw a short pass to Michael Crabtree who made it into the endzone! TOUCHDOWN Raiders, they won the game. The Raiders needed the win badly and now look like themselves again and have a chance again to make the postseason. Great game for the Raiders!

PLAYER OF THE WEEK Honorable Mentions:
Amari Cooper, WR, Raiders: 11 rec, 210 rec yards, 2 TDs
Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Cowboys: 26 atps, 147 rush yards, 2 TDs, 72 rec yards, 1 TD
Carson Wentz, QB, Eagles: 268 pass yards, 4 TDs, 1 INT
Dak Prescott, QB, Cowboys: 234 yards, 4 TD
Paul Richardson, WR, Seahawks: 61 yards, 1 TD

TEAM OF THE WEEK Honorable Mentions:
Seattle Seahawks (4-2)
Los Angeles Rams (5-2)
Los Angeles Chargers (3-4)
New Orleans Saints (4-2)
Philadelphia Eagles (6-1)

PLAYER OF THE WEEK Winner List: Week 1 Kareem Hunt RB Chiefs, Week 2 Tom Brady QB Patriots, Week 3 Odell Beckham Jr. WR Giants, Weeks 4 & 5: Deshaun Watson QB Texans, Week 6 Adrian Peterson RB Cardinals, Week 7 Eddie Jackson S Bears

TEAM OF THE WEEK Winner List: Week 1 Chiefs, Week 2 Broncos, Week 3 Redskins, Weeks 4 & 5 Seahawks, Week 6 Giants, Week 7 Raiders

Winners of the Week, Week 5

Hi, here is my winners of the week for week 5. Some quick news that the Browns have named Kevin Hogan their starting QB for the week. Here it is:

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Deshaun Watson, QB, Texans
Statline: 261 yards, 5 TDs passing
For the 2nd week in a row Deshaun Watson is my blogs player of the week! After an amazing performance last week against the Titans, I didn't know there was anyway for Watson to play much better...well he did it. Watson threw for 4 TDs and ran for 1 TD last week, this week he threw for 5 TDs! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! That is an INSANE amount for a QB, especially a rookie. Watson has been nothing short of unbelievable these last few weeks. As a rookie Watson has been doing things we expect a veteran or Tom Brady to do. Watson is already doing it all! He can pass, he can run. He makes great throws and great decisions. This is DESHAUN WATSON's TEAM NOW! I hope the Texans can make a playoff apperance because we know Watson somehow does even better on a bigger stage. Watson is second in the league in passing TDs. Only behind the great Aaron Rodgers. Watson is having a great year and has found his way into the MVP race and also may be edging Kareem Hunt for the rookie of the year favorite. Lets see what Watson can do next week against the BROWNS! It should be a monster game for him.

TEAM OF THE WEEK: Seattle Seahawks (3-2)
Final Score: Seahawks 16, Colts 10
This is crazy. Not only is this the second week in a row that the Hawks have won team of the week but with Deshaun Watson winning player of the week for the second week in a row, we have the same 2 winners from last week! CRAZY! Anyway the Seahawks pulled off a MAJOR win against the Rams who had been on a roll. The game started out VERY slow for the Hawks as it started with a 10-0 Rams lead but then the Hawks picked it up. Their D was playing on fire. Limiting Jared Goff, Sammy Watkins, and Todd Gurley. The team ended the day with 2 interceptions and 2 fumble recoveries. DE Sheldon Richardson had 1 interception and one fumble recovery. He had quite a day. The game got very intense in the end as the Hawks were only up by 6 when with about 20 seconds the Rams had the ball at their own 15. Luckily for the Hawks, with great defense and a lucky wide open drop in the endzone by rookie WR Cooper Kupp, the Hawks won on the final play of the game and took the division back. This would have been bad for the Hawks playoff positioning if they had lost this game but the team played well with each other and took home a huge win.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK Honorable Mentions:
Myles Garrett, DE, Browns: 2 sacks in debut game
Carson Wentz, QB, Eagles: 304 yards, 4 TDs, 1 INT
Sheldon Richardson, DE, Seahawks: 1 INT, 1 fumble recovery
Dak Prescott, QB, Cowboys: 251 yards, 4 TDs, 1 INT
Leonard Fournette, RB, Jaguars: 181 yards, 2 TDs

TEAM OF THE WEEK Honorable Mentions:
Carolina Panthers (4-1)
Kansas City Chiefs (5-0)
Philledelphia Eagles (4-1)
Green Bay Packers (4-1)
Jacksonville Jaguars (3-2)

PLAYER OF THE WEEK Winner List: Week 1 Kareem Hunt RB Chiefs, Week 2 Tom Brady QB Patriots, Week 3 Odell Beckham Jr. WR Giants, Week 4 Deshaun Watson QB Texans, Week 5 Deshaun Watson QB Texans

TEAM OF THE WEEK Winner List: Week 1 Chiefs, Week 2 Broncos, Week 3 Redskins, Week 4 Seahawks, Week 5 Seahawks

Divisional Round Picks!

Hi, today I will be calling the divisional round match-ups and see who advances to the NFC and AFC Championships! Some quick news that Clemson upsets no. 1 undefeated Alabama in the National Championship college football. Here it is:

Texans @ Patriots: Patriots:
Everyone is saying this will be one of the Pats easiest match-ups all season, but it actually could be close. Even though the Pats are the best team in football, Tom Brady can't be perfect vs the no. 1 D in the league. Pro Bowl LB Jadeveon Clowney has been on fire lately and he played great on Tom Brady the last time the Texans played the Pats. The Texans O looked actually decent last week in their big win vs, the Raiders. Brock Osweiler didn't actually throw a pick and DeAndre Hopkins scored a TD! The Pats offense though is so good with top MVP candidate Tom Brady at the helm completing almost every pass. Michael Floyd looks like he could be good in the playoffs and Martellus Bennett is a great tight end. LeGarrette Blount is having an elite season and will play well. The Pats probably have the easy win unless their D shuts down Brady and the Texans O plays as well as it did last week and probably it would need to play even better.

Seahawks @ Falcons: Seahawks:
I don't care if the Falcons have home-field atvantage or MVP candidate Matt Ryan or top receiver Julio Jones. They won't win. The Falcons don't have the best home-field bonus by the way. If you look at team like the Seahawks who has one of the loudest stadiums if not the loudest in the league it is harder for teams to win there. The Hawks offense looked almost as good as the Falcons last week which is good for them because they were having some offensive struggles. Thomas Rawls broke out and the receivers and Jimmy Graham played well. This game will come down to the D. While the Falcons have one of the worst defenses in the league, the Hawks have one of the best. Making Atlanta's strength (their offense) need to work for it. Julio Jones will be tightly covered by the seasons best corner Richard Sherman while Mouhmaed Sanu and Taylor Gabriel will also be covered by breakout corners DeShawn Shead and Jeremy Lane. Kam Chancellor will do his job at safety and the Seahawks key is for Steven Terrell to play well so they don't get beat where Earl Thomas would be. If the Seahawks D struggles and lets the Falcons O make good plays, then it will be harder for the Hawks to win, but they are lucky the Falcons have such a bad D because that is what will get the Hawks the win. Sorry Falcons, this year isn't your year. #UPSETS!

Packers @ Cowboys: Packers:
Everyone says the Cowboys will win, but I don't think so. Did you see the Packers make a good team (the Giants) look like the Browns last week, exposing their top defense and shutting down their offense by covering Odell Beckham. The Packers are the real deal and they are the most dangerous team in the playoffs. Even though Jordy Nelson is out, it doesn't matter, Pack will still win. The pressure of the playoffs maybe too much for star rookies QB Dak Prescott and RB Zeke Elliott. It will be hard for the Boys' to stop the Packers long winning streak. This will be a battle of offenses but in the end, Pack will come away with the upset and move to the NFC championship. #UPSETS!

Steelers @ Chiefs: Steelers:
Even though the Chiefs have the home-field atvantage, the Steelers will win. The Steelers O has been unstoppable lately. Le'Veon Bell and Antonio Brown have been on fire and won't stop anytime soon. Big Ben is playing well and will be able to connect with all his receivers. The Chiefs do have a top D, but they don't have enough to fend off such a great offense. The Chiefs though have a great shot at winning. Their O has been pretty good too. Alex Smith has looked really good and rookie Tyreek Hill has been insane. He will need to have another big game for the Chiefs to punch themselves a ticket to the AFC Championship game. Travis Kelce and the rest of the Chiefs pass catchers need to catch balls and Spencer Ware needs to expose the Steelers decent D. This will be a close, good game, but the dangerous Steelers will win.

If what happens happens, the championship games will be...NFC: Packers @ Seahawks, AFC: Steelers @ Patriots. The Super Bowl is near and these games will be crucial to what the Super Bowl will look like. Thanks for reading!

Who I think will end up in the Playoffs!

Hi, with the season winding down and 2 weeks left, the playoff picture is almost set, and looking at who I think will win and lose, this is what I think the playoffs will look like, I hope your favorite team makes it. Here it is:

NFC:

1st Seed Prediction: Dallas Cowboys, Predicted Record: 14-2:
The Cowboys will win out with a home game against the Lions which will be hard, but if they play like usual, they will win and then an easy game vs. the Eagles which won't be trouble for them to win out and take the number 1 seed in the NFC with their amazing offense and decent defense. Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott will keep on rolling to keep this team going in the playoffs.

2nd Seed Prediction: Seattle Seahawks, Predicted Record: 11-4-1:
The Seahawks have been a force all season and I would be surprised if they lost to the Cardinals at home or the 1 win 49ers in San Fransisco. The Hawks should be locked up for a first round bye and already clinched a playoff spot and so if they win out, they will stay in their BYE spot. The offense is playing great but the D will have to recover from losing Earl Thomas and have to learn to get Steven Terrell involved the way Earl Thomas would.

3rd Seed Predicition: Atlanta Falcons, Predicted Record: 11-5:
The Falcons don't have a super tough schedule ending the year, playing the Panthers in Carolina could be trouble, but the Saints at home should be easy money for the surging Falcons. Their offense will need to be on top of its game because their D CANNOT do much to help and they need to work on their D next season if they ever want to win a Super Bowl.

4th Seed Prediction: Green Bay Packers, Predicted Record: 10-6:
I am predicted the Packers to win out and finally steal the division from the Lions which some people think won't happen, but I think it will. The Packers can probably win this week vs. Minnesota at home and if they don't, they're in trouble, if they do like they should though, they will have to pull off a bit of an upset in Detroit to take the division. I think they can do it though by the way Aaron Rodgers and the Packers D has been playing lately.

5th Seed Prediction: New York Giants, Predicted Record: 12-4:
The Giants offense has been great lately, but what is surprising to most people, is that what has been carrying them lately is their Super Bowl defense. Since earlier this season, players on the Giants have started calling their great D a super bowl defense. Janoris Jenkins, Landon Collins, and Olivier Vernon have lead this overpowered defensive attack while Odell Beckham is back to himself having great game after great game. The Giants are going to have a great playoff run I can tell and if they can pull off a few upsets, they could be the next Super Bowl champs.

6th Seed Prediction: Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Predicted Record: 10-6:
The Bucs have been on a run lately and I think they will end up winning out and barely making the playoffs with the NFC 6th seed. I think the Bucs won't go far in the playoffs because their strength is being at home, and being 6th seed means you won't have 1 home game in the playoffs so it could be tough for the Bucs but they could pull off upsets like they've been doing all year. Their D has all of the sudden became one of the top defenses in the league and Jameis Winston is a pro QB now that knows what to do under pressure, you saw the Bucs almost beat the insane Cowboys last week, they can pull off upsets.

AFC:

1st Seed Prediction: New England Patriots, Predicted Record: 14-2:
The Patriots cannot be stopped. Take away Tom Brady's best target and he takes the next man up (Malcom Mitchell) and turns him into a great receiver. The Pats can easily win the Super Bowl yet again with their superstar offense and their decent D that has always done what they needed it to the last few seasons.

2nd Seed Prediction: Oakland Raiders, Predicted Record: 13-3:
The Raiders will win out. Their schedule is not super tough. Beating the Colts at home won't be hard and then the faltering Broncos in Denver won't be too tough. The Raiders have such a great young offense lead by MVP candidate Derek Carr and 2 great young receivers in Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree. Running back Latavius Murray has proved to be a great young running back will totally help them in the playoffs because he racks up a lot of yards every game. Their defense has a lot of superstar players that can get it done. Defensive player of the year candidate Khalil Mack leads their D attack helped by their great young corners and safeties and LB Bruce Irvin. The Raiders may be a super bowl team.

3rd Seed Prediction: Pittsburgh Steelers, Predicted Record: 11-5:
The Steelers didn't look great earlier this season, and they don't look perfect now, but they will easily win this division because the Ravens don't have enough to beat them out. Their overpowered offense has been lead by running back Le'Veon Bell who would have been an MVP candidate if he hadn't been suspended the first 3 games. Big Ben and Antonio Brown have been a great duo lately and LaDarius Green looks like a great target at tight end. The D is becoming top tier and I would be very surprised if the Steelers didn't make a deep playoff push.

4th Seed Prediction: Tennessee Titans, Predicted Record: 10-6:
The Titans I think deserve a playoff season. They have been the best team in their division by far this season and if the garbage Texans end up winning the division, it would be a sad thing after the Titans amazing season. The Texans and Titans will both probably win pretty easy match-ups in week 16 but in week 17, the Titans come to Houston to play for the division and the winner with end up with this 4th seed. The Titans star offense lead by future top QB Marcus Mariota and maybe comeback player of the year DeMarco Murray. Delanie Walker is old, but he is still a top tight end and Rishard Matthews looks like a great target. The defense is enough to win games and the Titans could go deep in the playoffs if they make it which I am confident they will.

5th Seed Prediction: Kansas City Chiefs, Predicted Record: 12-4:
It seems funny that a team with such a big record, would be 5th or 6th seed. The Chiefs will make the playoffs for sure unless of course they lose out which would probably not happen. The Chiefs have an amazing offense lead by surprise breakout rookie triple threat Tyreek Hill who gets a touchdown almost everytime he touches the ball. Alex Smith is becoming a great franchise QB and Spencer Ware is a great replacement for Jamaal Charles. The defense is even better than the O. Marcus Peters is one of the best CB's in football in only his second year. Eric Berry is also a top safety and he is playing like it. Their D is insane and even though they won't be a division winner, they could easily beat any team in the wildcard round and then make a deep push to the Super Bowl like they did last season.

6th Seed Prediction: Miami Dolphins, Predicted Record: 10-6:
The Dolphins are a great team, and I think they will finally make the playoffs and compete with the Patriots in their division, next season they might even be able to win the division if they have a strong start. The Dolphins can put together an upset and make it to the next round of the playoffs and maybe even duel with the Patriots down the playoff stretch. Ryan Tannehill is becoming a good QB and Matt Moore is a great re-placement, leading the 'Fins to a blowout game Vs. the Jets last week. Jay Ajayi is a GREAT running back, top 5 in my mind. Jarvis Landry and breakout tight end Dion Sims have been great targets and the Dolphins D has broken out starting with CB Byron Maxwell's breakout season. Ndamukong Suh is always a great defender and same with Mario Williams. The Dolphins have a great team and they can make a deep playoff push.

Winners of the Week, Week 6 Edition

Hi, here is my weekly winners of the week post, my wrap-up should be coming tomorrow. Here it is:

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Odell Beckham Jr., WR, Giants: Odell finally had a great week. After a LOT of off-season hype about how great Odell's 3rd season would be, he has been terrible this year...at least until this week. Odell broke out with 8 catches for 222 yards and 2 TD's. 2222! :) . Anyway, Odell's scores put the Giants ahead of the Ravens in final minutes to win a VERY important game. Odell Beckham finally played like people thought he would, will it last though? By the way, that went for 32 fantasy points!

TEAM OF THE WEEK: Seattle Seahawks (4-1): WHAT A WEEK FOR SEATTLE. Coming off their BYE week, the Seahawks were winning the division by 1 game of the Rams and 1 game out of the Cardinals. If the Seahawks lost and either or both teams won, the Seahawks would be second in the division which is not great. Playing the no. 1 offense (Falcons), it looked like this would be their hardest game of the year. After taking a strong first half lead 17-3, they gave 21 points in the 3rd and 4th quarter to make the game 24-17 Falcons. The Seahawks missed a close field goal but then scored a TD to make it 24-23, then the extra point got blocked and with around 5 minutes, it looked like the Seahawks were headed to a disappointing loss. Then they struck back, Matt Ryan threw a pass to no. 1 WR Julio Jones and it was bobbled and picked off by Seahawks star safety Earl Thomas. The Hawks then put together a field goal drive to be up 26-24, the Falcons still had a chance on offense but the Seahawks forced them to a turn-over on downs and then kneeled the rest of time out. They won a must win game against one of the top teams in the league.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK Honorable Mentions:
Dak Prescott QB Cowboys: Lead 'Boys to yet another win with 3 TD's against the tough Packers
LeSean McCoy RB Bills: 140 rushing yards and 3 TD's for 32 fantasy points and a Bills win
Jay Ajayi RB Dolphins: Had 204 rushing yards and 2 TDs in a crazy win vs the Steelers

TEAM OF THE WEEK Honorable Mentions:
Miami Dolphins: Took down a heavily favored Steelers team
Houston Texans: Stayed in the game until the very end in winning in overtime
New York Giants: Had a GREAT game vs. Ravens with all their stars breaking out

Last Weeks Winners:
TEAM: Falcons
PLAYER: Tom Brady, QB, Patriots

My New Super Bowl Pick

Hi, I have a new SB pick in and here it is:

MY SB PICK: NFC SEAHAWKS VS AFC COLTS:

This is my new pick. Hear me out. I know the Seahawks have had a bad start but the team gets into rythm as the season goes on and the Seahawks have a great defense and a great offense. Russell Wilson always seems to start out bad but then lead his team to the playoffs and with an easy schedule, it shouldn't be too hard for the Hawks to win some games, there are only tough match-ups left on the schedule already are Vs. the Patriots, Rams, Cardinals 2 times, Jets, and Packers and its only week 2. Tyler Lockett is looking great at receiver and Thomas Rawls and Christine Michael seem to make a good running back duo. The O-line needs some help but the Hawks can do it. The Colts are on the other hand 0-2. Not a great start to the season put they will pick up as the season goes on. Andrew Luck had a monster week 1, making everyone believe in the Colts. In my fantasy league Luck went from the trading block to untouchable. He is the leader of the team and is probably the biggest reason I think they will make it. They have a great young receiving core in T.Y. Hilton, Donte Moncrief, and Phillip Dorsett who are all play makers. They have pretty good tight ends, Dwayne Allen is a good target and in week 1 Jack Doyle proved to be pretty good with 2 TD catches. Running back is okay, the have Frank Gore who had a few good weeks last year but his prime is behind him, the Colts will likely have a new running back soon. The O-line is GREAT! The defense is not. Aside from Vontae Davis and maybe D'Qwell Jackson, the D is not great. They have a few players who used to be stars but are now sort of washed up like Trent Cole, Antonio Cromartie, Robert Mathis. Their D can do it though, it wasn't much better when the Colts made it to the AFC championship. The two teams can totally edge out their conferences and make it to Houston for SB51. I predict the NFC and AFC championships will feature, Seahawks Vs. Panthers and Colts Vs. Jaguars.

Picking a Winner out of Positional Battles

Hi, since their are still some battles going on for the starting job for teams, I am picking some winners. Here it is:

Broncos Starting QB: Paxton Lynch Vs. Trevor Siemian Vs. Mark Sanchez:
I think the Broncos are going to name Trevor Siemian as the starter. Out of the 3 of them, he is the only one to have been on the Broncos last year which means he has more experience with the team and its playing style. Siemian has looked decent in the pre-season and also from being on the team last year, he has trained a lot with Peyton Manning, one of the best QB's in NFL history. I would say Paxton Lynch has played the best and deserves the starting role but the Broncos don't want to start him until later in the season, probably to train him a little because its a big transition from college to the pros. Trevor Siemian will get the job.

49ers Starting QB: Colin Kaepernick Vs. Blaine Gabbert:
I'm giving this one to Kaepernick, he has so much experience with the team, he lead them to the NFC championship a few years ago, just because he had one down year doesn't mean the 49ers should be giving crappy Blaine Gabbert the job. Kaepernick is also so much better, he can pass well, he's a great runner, he deserves the job and will get it. Just because he had surgeries and hasn't played as much lately doesn't set him back. Kaepernick will get the job that he deserves.

Rams Starting QB: Jared Goff Vs. Case Keenum:
I'm giving the win to Goff. Even though I think it was stupid for the Rams to give up so much to trade up to the first pick, Goff will still get the job. Case Keenum had a chance to lock the starting gig down last year and blew it with just one good game against like the Buccaneers. Goff has looked terrible in these first pre-season games but I think he needs to start. He gives the Rams a new chance to win and I think they will keep him at the job. The Rams should have just waited a season and waited until the QB stacked 2017 draft which holds 10 QB's who are projected to go in the first round, they would have still got someone good and they wouldn't have had to trade. Goff will still get the job but I'm not saying he'll be good.

Seahawks Starting RB: Christine Michael Vs. Thomas Rawls:
Rawls was supposed to be the hands down starter until Michael stepped in this pre-season and started playing well. Rawls ended the season with an injury and hasn't played since, even though he is supposed to be ready for week 1. Rawls won't play in the pre-season and Michael has been and he has been playing well, people are questioning if Rawls will get the job back and I'm saying he will. Michael is good, but Rawls is better. These are pre-season games, they don't matter, the top defenses are out and no one is totally trying. Rawls is the starter and will get a shot at the start of the season but if he plays badly, Michael might have a chance to steal the starting job. I think Michael will be able to get some carries out of Rawls' workload if Rawls starts himself.

Thanks for reading and make sure to watch some pre-season games today, especially the Rams vs Broncos which will feature two of the starting job battles, Broncos QB and Rams QB. It will be a great game.

Cowboys Vs. Seahawks, Highlights from an Exciting Game

Hi, I am posting today about a great pre-season game yesterday. Here are the highlights:

-The Cowboys are normally a top 5 team in the league, but last year they went 4-12, one of the worst seasons in franchise history. It was because star QB Tony Romo got injured week 2, finally came back around week 10 and then played one game and got re-injured the next game, giving the Cowboys tied for their 2nd worst season in franchise history. Now Tony Romo is back and on his 3rd play of the night he tried scrambling and got hit hard in the back and was down. Romo lay on the ground, a hand on his back, officials ran to him to see if he was okay. He finally got up and walked to the sideline, Romo is ok but he will not play any snaps the rest of the pre-season. How will he be in the regular season.

-Top Offensive Rookie of the Year predicition, 4th Overall Pick in this years draft, running back Ezekiel Elliott made his debut. He was a beast. He had some great blocks to give QB's Tony Romo and Dak Prescott more time in the pocket and he had some runs that made it to the outside, he rushed for 48 yards on only a fe carries and he started a rivalry with one of the leagues (if not the hardest) hardest hitters, Kam Chancellor but played well through it. When Kam put his head down to hit Elliott, he hit him right back and kept running. This was surprising because Ezekiel did this multiple times and no one can really do that to such an elite defender. When Zeke came out I started getting texts from my friends in my fantasy league asking me what for Ezekiel?

-Cowboys rookie backup QB Dak Prescott played amazingly AGAIN! When Romo got hurt Dak came right in and was great. I can see Dak as the future of the Cowboys QB even maybe after just one more season considering how injury prone Tony Romo is. If Romo gets hurt this season, the Cowboys won't still have one of the worst seasons in their franchise history, but they will have Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott to hold down. One more injury for Romo and Dak will get the starting nod is my thoughts.

-Seahawks breakout running back Christine Michael wowed again. He was explosive as usual and got many yards. Rawls is supposed to be the starter but coming off of an injured season and having not played one snap yet this year, will he be able to hold off Michael from the starting job. We'll have to see. Rawls could be playing next week as most of the starters do in the final week of the pre-season.
