Hi, sorry that I haven't posted for a while but there hasn't been much going on lately. But first here is some news: Brent Grimes signs with the Buccaneers! Here are the best free agents still left:
1. Ryan Fitzpatrick QB: Fitz is a really great QB who the Jets haven't shown a sign of re-signing. If by the time his contract really does expire I wouldn't be surprised if the Broncos signed him. He is really the only good QB left
2. Reggie Nelson S: Nelson is a really good rising star safety. This year on the Bengals he had a breakout year and made the pro bowl but it's looking like the Bengals don't want to re-sign him so another team who needs a safety would be happy to have an amazing talent like Nelson on their team!
3. Arian Foster RB: The only reason the Texans probably didn't re-sign him was because he keeps getting injured almost every year. Foster is a great RB though that needs more time on the field so he has another chance because in my opinion, Foster is a top 10 RB in the NFL and you wouldn't want a top 10 RB sitting on the free agent market with no one signing him. Two teams that might want to sign him could be the Dolphins and Redskins who both have in-experienced 2nd year RB's that will start next season unless they don't get someone new.
4. Greg Hardy DE: Hardy has had some amazing years in the NFL and this one was one of his best but the reason no one wants to sign him is because of all of the trouble he has been getting into. As he gets older, I think he will probably stop making such bad choices and then a team will sign him because he is WAY to good not to be starting on a team!
5. Dwight Freeney LB: Freeney is a really good LB. Just because he is getting older doesn't mean that he is bad. His last seasons with Arizona where pretty great and before Arizona Freeney might have been the BEST LB IN THE LEAGUE with the Colts. If a team is look for talent at LB they should take Freeney because he has had lots of experience in the NFL and he knows what he is doing.
Those are my top 5 free agents still left but here are some other good ones:
6. Percy Harvin WR
7. LeGarrette Blount RB
8. Anaquan Boldin WR

How Does Robert Griffin III Effect the Browns?
Hi, today I thought that I would make a post about the benefits of Robert Griffin going to the Browns and now that I look at them, I realize that the Browns are now in a great situation by having Griffin. First of all, without Griffin the Browns would have to start Josh McCown or Austin Davis which are two of the worst QB's in the entire league so having Griffin is great because they have a new starting QB. Second, before getting injured RGIII was amazing, he had amazing 50 yard+ rushing TD's and he had only 5 interceptions, he also threw for 20 TD's. His stats were great before he got injured and those were the stats from his rookie season. I think that now that he has a chance at starting again at QB gives him a second chance in the NFL, even though he is only 26. Another benefit from having Griffin is that the Browns have the 2nd overall pick and they no longer need to use it on a QB but instead a different position that they need. I think that the Browns should now use the 2nd overall pick on WR Laquon Treadwell who is probably the no. 1 WR in the draft, with him they would finally have a good WR on the team that Griffin could throw to. There are more benefits to having Griffin on the team but I think these were the main ones and so now I think the Browns have a shot at a comeback season!

Robert Griffin III has a New Home!
Hi, Robert Griffin used to be a star on the Redskins until they cut him this month. Since then Griffin has been looking for a team that wants him to be their QB. He has finally found that team! The Cleveland Browns haven't had a good QB since the 1900s. They have gone through many QB's since 2000 and Robert Griffin is going to be another one. The Browns had 2 starting QB's this past season, Johnny Manziel and Josh McCown. Johnny Manziel and Josh McCown are probably the worst starting QB's in the NFL. The Browns cut Johnny Manziel this offseason and so they were left with the crappy Josh McCown. The Browns needed a QB and so they signed Robert Griffin III. I am really excited to see a team giving Griffin a shot this season. It's looking like the Browns will start Griffin unless they draft a QB with the 2nd overall pick in the draft. If they do, RGIII said that he would be happy to take a rookie QB "under his wing". Griffin will hopefully start in Cleveland and have a fresh start to his shaky NFL career. Here is some more things that happened today:
Patriots sign Texans WR Nate Washington
Eagles sign Giants WR Rueben Randle
Cowboys sign Redskins RB Alfred Morris
That is what happened today and I will try to have more posts up soon!

DeMarco Murray going to Tennessee!
After a disaster season with the Eagles, star RB DeMarco Murray is being traded to the Titans. That is CRAZY! I thought that the Eagles were keeping DeMarco Murray because he had an amazing year last season with the Cowboys before coming to the Eagles, then he had a bad year. Still, it seems crazy that he is going to the Titans. The Titans badly needed an RB and they will finally have a good one. I am curious to find out what happens to Murray on the Titans, will he have a comeback year or another slump year. For some reason though this just seems crazy! I don't know yet what the Titans are giving the Eagles for Murray but I will tell you once I know! Here is some other things that happened today:
Redskins officially released Robert Griffin III
Eagles trade Kiko Alonso and Bryon Maxwell to Dolphins
Peyton Manning officially retires
Buccaneers Star Logan Mankins retires after 11 seasons
Some crazy things happened in the NFL today and the official off-season is in 2 days and that is when lots more trading, releasing, and signing will happen so be ready for a lot more news starting March 9th!

Broncos are in a tough situation at QB
Hi, today I thought I would tell you guys that the Broncos are really in a tough position at QB right now. Today Peyton Manning announced official retirement so that leaves the Broncos with decent QB Brock Osweiler. The problem is, Osweiler needs to be re-signed or he will hit the free-agent market. The Broncos have reportedly offered Osweiler at pretty good deal but he hasn't accepted yet. In a few days the official off-season starts and if the Broncos don't strike a deal with Osweiler then, another team might steal him from them. The Broncos have an interesting situation and I am not sure what will happen with the Broncos for QB but QB is the most important position to have so they need a QB. If another team takes Osweiler, I recommend the Broncos sign under the radar QB Robert Griffin III. Griffin is great but no one ever talks about him. That would be a huge steal for the Broncos! Again, the Broncos are in a tough spot at QB right now!

My Way Too Early Fantasy Rankings Part 3 Kickers and Defenses
Hi, before I get into the last part of my My Way Too Early Fantasy Rankings I just want to tell you someone quick news. First Joe Flacco signs with the Ravens for a long contract extension, Tom Brady signs a 2 year contract extension with the Patriots and Brady hopes to play for 10 more years. CRAZY RIGHT? Also after 11 seasons, the Falcons cut WR Roddy White who has had the teams most receiving yards and TD's in Falcons WR history! I am surprised that they cut him. The 49ers also re-signed RB Shaun Draughn. Also the Patriots cut two good players, Scott Chandler and Brandon LaFell. A lot happened today in signing and releasing but I am most surprised that the Falcons cut veteran WR Roddy White! Now to the Rankings:
Kickers:
1. Stephen Gostkowski
2. Josh Brown
3. Steven Hauschka
4. Justin Tucker
5. Cairo Santos
Why: Most people might think, Kickers aren't a very important fantasy football position. I am here to tell you it is. For most of the fantasy season this season I had kicker Cairo Santos and he scored my team a lot of points! Let's start with Stephen Gostkowski. He has been the best kicker for the last few years and I think he will keep it up this upcoming year. Gostkowski scored 10+ points for a lot of weeks this season and I think he is a really great kicker who will score like a mediocre WR, if you want a high scoring kicker, Gostkowski is the one to have. Josh Brown had a breakout kicking season on the Giants. He made the Pro Bowl and had multiple 10+ point games. Brown is a good kicker who could score better than a top WR some weeks. Steven Hauschka has always been a pretty great kicker for the Seahawks. This season Steven Hauschka lead the team in scoring points and he made pretty long field goals. You want this good accurate kicker kicking for your fantasy team. Justin Tucker didn't have a great season but he is still the most accurate field goal kicker in the NFL. That will do you well if you want a kicker that makes most field goals. Finally Cairo Santos is probably a player you have never heard of, but he is really great. He had 2 20+ point games, a lot of 10+ point games this season also. Santos is a good kicker who had a great year!
Defense:
1. Broncos D
2. Panthers D
3. Chiefs D
4. Seahawks D
5. Cardinals D
Why: D is a bigger part of fantasy football than most positions. Defense was really great this year in fantasy and if you had a top D, than you were happy with winning most of your fantasy games. Broncos D was the no. 1 D this year. They have 2 of the top cornerbacks in the NFL right now and Super Bowl MVP Von Miller. They also have DeMarcus Ware who is amazing and more other great defenders. The Broncos have top D players and you will want them in fantasy because I can see them having a great defensive year again! Panthers D was also great, with Luke Kuechly and Josh Norman leading them and then with other underrated stars who broke out this year, you want the Panthers D for a productive year with the top MLB and CB in the NFL. Chiefs D had a breakout defensive year having many 12+ point games with all of their amazing defenders stepping up. They have an amazing young D that will have a great year next year and you will want them in fantasy against any opponent. The Seahawks have always had a pretty great D, this year their D fell down a little but by the end of the season it was playing great again. I can't even name all of the defensive stars on the Seahawks but I think they are going to have yet another amazing defensive year this upcoming year. If you have a chance to get Seahawks D, do it! Cardinals D also had a great season. They had some 30 point games and some 4 point games but all in all they had a great year. If you want a defense that no one is thinking about, steal it with a high pick and it will be rewarding! Bad upcoming year: Patriots D Sleeper D: Jets Deep Sleeper D: Ravens Top 6.: 6. Rams D
Well that is that for my way to early fantasy position rankings and I hope you liked it. I will have more posts coming up very soon about news happening in the NFL!

A BIG SIGNING DAY FOR THE NFL
Hi, I will have my final way to early position rankings up soon but lets cut to the chase, today lots of players received the franchise tag from their teams. The franchise tag is a signing thing that is a one year contract. Basically what it does is you find the average amount of money the top players of your position are and when you get the average that is how much money your 1 year contract is. Here are some players who got re-signed:
1. Von Miller got a franchise tag from the Broncos
2. Kirk Cousins got a franchise tag from the Redskins
3. Sam Bradford was signed a 2 year, $36 million contract extension with the Eagles
4. The Bills release star DE Mario Williams, I am kind of surprised by that
5. Alshon Jeffery gets a franchise tag from the Bears
6. Justin Tucker gets a franchise tag from the Ravens
7. Josh Norman gets a franchise tag from the Panthers
8. Muhammed Wilkerson will get a franchise tag from the Jets
9. Eric Berry gets a franchise tag from the Chiefs
Those are all of the main signings and releases that happened today and on March 9th the real offseason starts and that's when lots more trading, re-signing, and releasing will happen. Again I will have my last way to early fantasy rankings post up soon! I hope your favorite team just re-signed a great player! :)
