Hi, today a lot of signings and cuttings happened, here is what went down:
1. Calvin Johnson retires after 9 seasons
2. Jaguars sign Broncos star Malik Jackson to a 6 year deal
3. Jason Pierre-Paul re-signs with the Giants for a one year deal
4. Steelers re-sign CB William Gay
5. Chiefs re-sign Tamba Hali for a 3 year deal
6. Breakout TE on the Saints Benjamin Watson lands a two year deal with the Ravens
7. Cardinals backup QB Drew Stanton signs a two year deal with the Cardinals
8. Dolphins sign former Bills star DE Mario Williams to a two year deal
9. Vikings cut star WR Mike Wallace
10. Bills Richie Incognito re-signs for a three year deal with the Bills
11. Seahawks breakout DT Anthyba Rubin re-signs with Seattle for a 3 year deal
12. Seahawks lose one of their best players, LB Bruce Irvin to Raiders for more money
13. Jets RB Chris Ivory is going to the Jaguars
That is all of the crazy stuff that happened today and the official off-season starts tommorow but I am still wondering why the Saints didn't re-sign breakout TE Ben Watson because he is so good and they don't want another team to get him.
