Hi, today (or tonight since it's 11:30 right now lol :) I decided I would make a post about contract deals that are on the edge of make or break. Here they are:
Von Miller and the Broncos: The Broncos franchise tagged Von but he wants a bigger contract and the two sides are fighting each other trying to get a satifisying offer that they both like. I think he deserves a lot of money and if the Broncos won't budge, another team will, the Broncos shouldn't be greedy and take Miller before he hits the open market if they don't get a deal done by July 15th.
Kirk Cousins and the Redskins: Kirk Cousins is so overrated. He had one decent/average season and now he wants to be paid like Russell Wilson. The Redskins should move on and let Kirk hit the open market when July 15th comes and look for someone cheaper. Cousins does not deserve a big deal and the Redskins shouldn't sign him unless he goes for a cheaper deal.
Alshon Jeffery and the Bears: Even though I think Jeffery is also overrated the Bears need him. I think this deal will probably end up falling through but the Bears should re-sign Jeffery so they have a WR1 to help with the Bears passing game, otherwise the Bears pretty much only have Kevin White who could easily get injured again. Jeffery will probably end up hitting the market because he and the Bears can never get anything done but I think the Bears should try to re-sign him even though it probably won't happen.
Muhammad Wilkerson and the Jets: Wilkerson is such a great player but there is no way this deal will get done. Wilkerson wants more money which is fair and the Jets won't offer him it. Wilkerson is also mad at the Jets organization for this deal and other reasons which make it even tougher to see this deal coming through. Wilkerson and the Jets aren't talking and so Wilkerson will 99 percent sure hit the market on the 15th. This is such a shame because Wilkerson is so good and now another team who isn't as greedy as the Jets will get him.
Those are 4 deals on the edge and thanks for reading!
