League MVP Candidates

Hi, today I decided to post about predictions and possibilities for who could win the biggest award, League MVP. Here is some news that Antonio Brown and the Steelers restructure his contract for lots more money and Steelers also claim QB Zach Mettenberger. Here is the candidates:

Eli Manning, QB, Giants: Manning had a great year last year and coming onto a year with Odell Beckham, Victor Cruz back, and a rookie addition in Sterling Shepard, Manning could have the best receiver trio in the league. I forgot to also mention WR4 Dwayne Harris who was also a great contribution to the team last year. Why not? Manning looks like he is in good shape and he has been playing so well lately, he has a good chance of winning the award.

Adrian Peterson, RB, Vikings: The Vikings were already a run first team, last year they averaged the least amount of pass attempts but now with starting QB Teddy Bridgewater out for the season and 36 year old QB Shaun Hill probably getting the start, the Vikings will run the ball A LOT. Maybe the most in the league. This could be the year for Peterson where he breaks the single season rushing record and wins league MVP. It seems very possible for Peterson to take home the award this year.

Aaron Rodgers, QB, Packers: Rodgers is the favorite to win MVP. His best receiver Jordy Nelson is coming back and Rodgers looks better than ever. With the Packers having an easy schedule, he has a chance to win the Super Bowl and take home the big award. He is super likely to win the award and I wouldn't be surprised at all if he won it.

J.J. Watt, DE, Texans: If J.J. Watt doesn't miss too much time from his back injury, he has a real shot at it. Another dominate year could lead him to his fourth defensive player of the year award in a row, it would be hard to not give him the award after winning the Defensive Player of the Year award 4 years in a row. Watt is a top candidate for the award.

Those are my top candidates to win the award, here are some other possible winners: Odell Beckham Jr. WR Giants, Antonio Brown WR Steelers, Ben Roethlisberger QB Steelers, Russell Wilson QB Seahawks, Ezekiel Elliott RB Cowboys, Todd Gurley RB Rams.

BREAKING: Teddy Bridgewater Tears ACL, Joey Bosa Signs Deal, Broncos Name Trevor Siemian Starting QB

Hi, in the last 2 days a lot of BIG news has happened. Here it all is:

Teddy Bridgewater: Today in practice apparently QB Teddy Bridgewater suffered a non contact knee injury which later turned out to be an ACL tear. This means Bridgewater should probably be out for the season. This is terrible for the Vikings, Teddy was wobbly his first 2 seasons in Minnesota and was starting to get the hang of things when he tore his ACL. This will set him back. The Vikings even used their first round pick on wide receiver Laquon Treadwell who was supposed to help Bridgewater develop. The Vikings still have a dominate defense and Adrian Peterson but their backup QB's are messes. I'm wondering how they will do this year. The Vikings do have options though, Mark Sanchez didn't get the starting role in Denver so he may be open, Colin Kaepernick isn't happy with the 49ers and might not start, Josh McCown isn't starting and the Browns might want to get rid of him.

Joey Bosa: No. 3 overall pick in this years NFL Draft, DE Joey Bosa finally signed his contract. He and the Chargers facility had been in a contract battle and Bosa turned down great offers and things weren't looking good for him playing this season when he finally signed his deal. Bosa will really help a crappy D-line and he has such a high chance of being great. The Chargers lucked out on drafting him. This will be a great deal and the Chargers probably won't regret it.

Trevor Siemian: The Broncos have finally named their starting QB. Mark Sanchez, Trevor Siemian, and rookie Paxton Lynch were all fighting for the job. Lynch was the favorite to start later on in the year and Mark Sanchez was the favorite to be the week 1 starter. Things didn't go as planned. Trevor Siemian played well in pre-season week 1, but so did Sanchez. Week 2, Sanchez and Siemian both weren't great, and week 3, Sanchez was decent but Siemian was great. He looked super comfortable in the offense and since he was the only QB who had been on the roster for more than a year, the Broncos felt more comfortable about starting him. I totally agree with the Broncos and now the questions are, Will Mark Sanchez retire, backup Siemian, or go to another team? And...When will Paxton Lynch step in at starter. Multiple teams may want to trade for Sanchez such as the quarterbackless Vikings or maybe the Cowboys who are looking for a veteran QB. What happens to Sanchez will be a mystery.

Thanks for reading, another weird thing that happened is the Eagles cut WR Rueben Randle who they seemed to like earlier in the pre-season.

BREAKING: TONY ROMO OUT UNTIL MID-SEASON

Hi, something crazy happened yesterday and I'm here to tell you about it. Before we start here is some news that the Rams sign WR Tavon Austin to a 4 year contract extension. Here is the big news:

Two posts ago I was talking about ho Tony Romo got hurt in the Seahawks Vs. Cowboys game but got up and seemed fine. Then backup QB Dak Prescott came in and played super well. Turns out Romo is actually out for half the season. He has a broken bone in his back and its not great for him or the Cowboys. If Romo gets hurt one more time, either the Cowboys will stop starting him due to his injury risk or he will get seriously hurt and not be able to play again. I see one more injury in Romo's career and then it's over. Dak Prescott is the future of the Cowboys' signal caller. Now people are saying crazy things, its over, the Cowboys will have another terrible year. Not true. First off its only 8 games, then Romo is back. Second, Dak Prescott is amazing. He has played super well in the pre-season and has the highest passer rating of any QB during the pre-season. Even though it is just pre-season, Dak looks really good and was steady even against Seattle's tough defense. Dak will set them up for wins and if he's as good as I think he'll be, Cowboys fans won't want Romo back in when he comes back. When Romo does come back, I don't thinks its gonna last. Last year when he broke his collarbone in week 2 and then finally came back around week 10, then re-injured it after only one more week. Dak Prescott has Rookie of the Year potential. I can see this happening again and the end of his career is soon, it's sad, but its true. Romo is on his way out, Dak Prescott is on his way in.

Some Other Pre-Season News:
-Browns WR Josh Gordon has a great game catching 2 long passes for 87 yards and a TD
-Broncos QB Trevor Siemian plays very well and its looking like he is going to be starter this year
-Titans running back duo, Henry and Murray continue to amaze with a great game
-Eli Manning plays terribly, whats up with him this Pre-season?
-Ravens star tight end Benjamin Watson has achilies injury, out for the season
-Blaine Gabbert and Colin Kaepernick both play pretty badly. Neither seperating themselves
-Jared Goff has bad game, Case Keenum steps up.
-Titans WR Andre Johnson played well, who knows, will he be a starting receiver?
-Jameis Winston has a great game throwing for 259 yards and 2 touchdowns
-Tom Brady looks good in pre-season debut, besting Jimmy Garapollo, beating the Panthers

Thanks for reading, sorry Cowboys fans...but Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott will be good!

Picking a Winner out of Positional Battles

Hi, since their are still some battles going on for the starting job for teams, I am picking some winners. Here it is:

Broncos Starting QB: Paxton Lynch Vs. Trevor Siemian Vs. Mark Sanchez:
I think the Broncos are going to name Trevor Siemian as the starter. Out of the 3 of them, he is the only one to have been on the Broncos last year which means he has more experience with the team and its playing style. Siemian has looked decent in the pre-season and also from being on the team last year, he has trained a lot with Peyton Manning, one of the best QB's in NFL history. I would say Paxton Lynch has played the best and deserves the starting role but the Broncos don't want to start him until later in the season, probably to train him a little because its a big transition from college to the pros. Trevor Siemian will get the job.

49ers Starting QB: Colin Kaepernick Vs. Blaine Gabbert:
I'm giving this one to Kaepernick, he has so much experience with the team, he lead them to the NFC championship a few years ago, just because he had one down year doesn't mean the 49ers should be giving crappy Blaine Gabbert the job. Kaepernick is also so much better, he can pass well, he's a great runner, he deserves the job and will get it. Just because he had surgeries and hasn't played as much lately doesn't set him back. Kaepernick will get the job that he deserves.

Rams Starting QB: Jared Goff Vs. Case Keenum:
I'm giving the win to Goff. Even though I think it was stupid for the Rams to give up so much to trade up to the first pick, Goff will still get the job. Case Keenum had a chance to lock the starting gig down last year and blew it with just one good game against like the Buccaneers. Goff has looked terrible in these first pre-season games but I think he needs to start. He gives the Rams a new chance to win and I think they will keep him at the job. The Rams should have just waited a season and waited until the QB stacked 2017 draft which holds 10 QB's who are projected to go in the first round, they would have still got someone good and they wouldn't have had to trade. Goff will still get the job but I'm not saying he'll be good.

Seahawks Starting RB: Christine Michael Vs. Thomas Rawls:
Rawls was supposed to be the hands down starter until Michael stepped in this pre-season and started playing well. Rawls ended the season with an injury and hasn't played since, even though he is supposed to be ready for week 1. Rawls won't play in the pre-season and Michael has been and he has been playing well, people are questioning if Rawls will get the job back and I'm saying he will. Michael is good, but Rawls is better. These are pre-season games, they don't matter, the top defenses are out and no one is totally trying. Rawls is the starter and will get a shot at the start of the season but if he plays badly, Michael might have a chance to steal the starting job. I think Michael will be able to get some carries out of Rawls' workload if Rawls starts himself.

Thanks for reading and make sure to watch some pre-season games today, especially the Rams vs Broncos which will feature two of the starting job battles, Broncos QB and Rams QB. It will be a great game.

Cowboys Vs. Seahawks, Highlights from an Exciting Game

Hi, I am posting today about a great pre-season game yesterday. Here are the highlights:

-The Cowboys are normally a top 5 team in the league, but last year they went 4-12, one of the worst seasons in franchise history. It was because star QB Tony Romo got injured week 2, finally came back around week 10 and then played one game and got re-injured the next game, giving the Cowboys tied for their 2nd worst season in franchise history. Now Tony Romo is back and on his 3rd play of the night he tried scrambling and got hit hard in the back and was down. Romo lay on the ground, a hand on his back, officials ran to him to see if he was okay. He finally got up and walked to the sideline, Romo is ok but he will not play any snaps the rest of the pre-season. How will he be in the regular season.

-Top Offensive Rookie of the Year predicition, 4th Overall Pick in this years draft, running back Ezekiel Elliott made his debut. He was a beast. He had some great blocks to give QB's Tony Romo and Dak Prescott more time in the pocket and he had some runs that made it to the outside, he rushed for 48 yards on only a fe carries and he started a rivalry with one of the leagues (if not the hardest) hardest hitters, Kam Chancellor but played well through it. When Kam put his head down to hit Elliott, he hit him right back and kept running. This was surprising because Ezekiel did this multiple times and no one can really do that to such an elite defender. When Zeke came out I started getting texts from my friends in my fantasy league asking me what for Ezekiel?

-Cowboys rookie backup QB Dak Prescott played amazingly AGAIN! When Romo got hurt Dak came right in and was great. I can see Dak as the future of the Cowboys QB even maybe after just one more season considering how injury prone Tony Romo is. If Romo gets hurt this season, the Cowboys won't still have one of the worst seasons in their franchise history, but they will have Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott to hold down. One more injury for Romo and Dak will get the starting nod is my thoughts.

-Seahawks breakout running back Christine Michael wowed again. He was explosive as usual and got many yards. Rawls is supposed to be the starter but coming off of an injured season and having not played one snap yet this year, will he be able to hold off Michael from the starting job. We'll have to see. Rawls could be playing next week as most of the starters do in the final week of the pre-season.

Another Fantasy Mock Draft

Hi, since the season is getting so close and we are already finished with 2 weeks of pre-season football, I think it is a good time for me to make another mock draft because most people are probably drafting their fantasy teams around now. Some news is that the Broncos sign DT Henry Melton to a 1 year deal. Here it is, I will have a post about this weeks pre-season highlights coming up:

Pick 1, 8th Overall: DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Texans
Pick 2, 13th Overall: Doug Martin, RB, Buccaneers
Pick 3, 28th Overall: Brandon Marshall, WR, Jets
Pick 4: 33rd Overall: Jordan Reed, TE, Redskins
Pick 5, 48th Overall: Russell Wilson, QB, Seahawks
Pick 6, 53rd Overall: Thomas Rawls, RB, Seahawks
Pick 7, 68th Overall: Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Panthers
Pick 8, 73rd Overall: Broncos Defense
Pick 9, 88th Overall: Stephen Gostkowski, K, Patriots
Pick 10, 93rd Overall: Josh Gordon, WR, Browns
Pick 11, 108th Overall: Jeremy Langford, RB, Bears
Pick 12, 113th Overall: Blake Bortles, QB, Jaguars
Pick 13, 128th Overall: DeVante Parker, WR, Dolphins
Pick 14, 133rd Overall: DeAngelo Williams, RB, Steelers
Pick 15, 148th Overall: Laquon Treadwell, WR, Vikings

WHY: Hopkins was a key first pick. You need a GOOD receiver and Hopkins is right behind Julio Jones in most rankings. I almost picked Lamar Miller but I took Martin over him because he was so good last year and the Bucs love running with him. Brandon Marshall will be a beast with Ryan Fitzpatrick back. Jordan Reed is an elite tight end and I love him, he rocks. Then I got my QB in Russell Wilson who is very consistently good and is an elite QB. Thomas Rawls was a steal that late in the draft. Kelvin Benjamin was also a steal because he is Carolina's no. 1 receiver and was so good in his rookie year with Cam Newton. I then took my number 1 defense in Broncos D who were so good last year and are set for another big year. Stephen Gostkowski wasn't a great pick so early in the draft but people were taking kickers and if I didn't take mine I'd be stuck with a terrible kicker. At least I got the best kicker. Josh Gordon was a player no one was thinking about. He was the best receiver a few years back but has been suspended since then and I'm giving him a chance. Jeremy Langford was a steal because he was a great backup last year and he was amazing when he stepped in for Matt Forte', now he is the starter so he should be even better. Blake Bortles was a steal at backup QB, he was a top 5 QB in fantasy last year and people were snoozing on him. I needed a backup receiver so I took Parker who should follow up well to a decent rookie season. I love DeAngelo Williams, he was a top 3 running back last year when he stepped in for Le'Veon Bell and he is starting the first 3 games of the season this year and should be as good as ever. Plus he is a good backup because say Bell gets suspended or hurt again which he has high risks in, Williams will be amazing again. I took Laquon Treadwell as my last backup receiver because I think he will have a great rookie year, maybe even the no. 1 receiver on the Vikings if he can get ahead of Stefon Diggs.

Top 5 Offensive Rookie of the Year Canidates

Hi, today I am making an offensive rookie of the year post to follow-up my defensive rookie post. Here it is:

5. Derrick Henry, RB, Titans:
Henry won't be the starting running back in Tennessee but the Heisman winning running back will touch the ball a lot. Henry was probably one of the BEST players in all of college football last year winning the Heisman. In the Titans pre-season opener we saw how the Titans would use Henry with DeMarco Murray and he was great. The two will both get a lot of carries and Henry will have a great chance of winning OROY. Henry looks like a great fit in Tennessee.

4. Corey Coleman, WR, Browns:
Everyone is saying Coleman is "the real deal", people are saying that he looks like he will be amazing with the Browns and I totally agree. With finally a pretty good QB (Robert Griffin III) Coleman will have a great chance of getting lots of catches. Coleman looks like an amazing fit and I think he will have great chances at OROY.

3. Laquon Treadwell, WR, Vikings:
Treadwell is SO good. He already has bonded with the coaches and they love the way he fits in the offense. I think Treadwell can already be the starting receiver and even though he was the last receiver taken in the first round I believe he was the best and should have been the first receiver taken. Treadwell has great chances at winning the award and he looks like a great fit in Minnesota.

2. Sterling Shepard, WR, Giants:
Shepard is crazy. He wasn't even a first round pick and he is considered better than most first round receivers. He and Odell Beckham Jr. will be amazing together and since Odell will have the number 1 corners on him all year, Shepard will be open to catch passes. Shepard's chances are huge for winning the award. I'm not sure why Shepard wasn't a first round receiver.

1. Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Cowboys:
There is almost no chance Zeke doesn't win this award. He is so good and his amazing talent behind the Cowboys number 1 offensive line will result in great things. Remember when DeMarco Murray won Offensive Player of the Year behind the Cowboys line a few years ago, Zeke probably has better chances of winning the awards then him. I will be VERY surprised if Zeke doesn't take home the award.

Thanks for reading and be sure to watch some of todays pre-season games. One player who just missed the list at number 6 was Rams rookie QB Jared Goff. A long-shot player to win the award maybe at 7 would be O lineman, Dolphins Laremy Tunsil.

Top 5 Defensive Rookie of the Year Canidates

Hi, today I decided to make a post about 5 rookies who I think have a great chance of winning defensive rookie of the year. First here is some news that Cardinals coach Bruce Arians left the hospital today and was fine. Here is the list:

5. Darron Lee, LB, Jets:
Lee was a beast in college. He was fast, scary, and great at sacking. Add him to the Jets stacked defensive line and he should be even better. Lee was already a beast in his first pre-season game and he has a great shot at DROY. Last year in college Lee had 36 solo tackles! Thats a lot for a player who had to share the spotlight with defensive star Joey Bosa. Lee will be a big help on the Jets.

4. Keanu Neal, S, Falcons:
I love the way Neal plays and combined with the Falcons need of safety he will be a big star from day 1. Neal had more solo tackles than Darron Lee with 51, thats pretty good and the Falcons are in need of a great player who can totally dominate QB's. Neal can do this in multiple ways with tackles, sacks, and interceptions. Neal can do it all which gives him a great shot a DROY.

3. Joey Bosa, DE, Chargers:
I like Joey Bosa, but Bosa on the Chargers won't be as good than him on a different team. Bosa has a super high ceiling which is great for the Chargers. Bosa will be a quarterbacks nightmare this year and he can finally add talent to the line. Him and Brandon Mebane will be great on the line together. If Bosa can find a way to sign a contract with the Chargers, he will have a great shot at DROY.

2. DeForest Buckner, DE, 49ers:
Buckner is a beast. Even though I think Bosa is better, Buckner is a better fit with his team. He was great last year on Oregon State and with former Oregon Coach Chip Kelly the 49ers new head coach, Buckner will be used to the play style which will make things easier for his transition. It will be hard for him not to shine on a crappy D-line only with NaVorro Bowman the only other great player. His chances are super high.

1. Jalen Ramsey, CB, Jaguars:
Ramsey is a sure-shot at winning DROY. He will be this years Marcus Peters, he is already the number 1 corner on the roster and he is a great player. Ramsey was the best defensive player in the draft and most likely THE best player in the draft. Him not winning DROY would be like Michael Phelps not winning a gold in the olympics, surprising and disappointing. He is almost sure to be the winner.

Thanks for reading and tomorrow I will have an Offensive Rookie of the Year post!

Texans Vs. 49ers Outcome and News

Hi, today I am posting about the outcome of this week's last pre-season game and news happening in the NFL. Here is the outcome:

The Texans stole the game but both teams didn't play amazing. The Texans new QB Brock Osweiler who was almost the Broncos starting QB didn't play amazing. He was pretty bad not able to connect to his receivers well but when he plays in the regular season I think he will be better because he is trying harder and he will have DeAndre Hopkins who is a top 5 best receiver in the NFL. When the 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick was out of the game, it gave Blaine Gabbert a chance to steal the job but he wasn't great. Kaepernick still has a huge shot. 49ers backup RB Mike Davis had a pretty good game but Carlos Hyde is still the un-questioned starter. Both teams should step it up a little I think. The Texans are one of my Super Bowl favorites and if they play like this during the regular season (which they most likely won't) they will not be good.
Now here is some news:

Titans WR Dorial Green-Beckham traded to Eagles for guard Dennis Kelly...I don't understand why the Titans would do this, Green-Beckham was set to have a great year with the Titans after a pretty good rookie year. He was set to probably be the no. 1 receiver on the Titans roster. I'm confused with this but maybe he will be good on the Eagles.

Cardinals coach Bruce Arians in the hospital with stomach pains, I don't know what will happen to him but I will probably know by the morning and I will talk about it in my next post.

Highlights from the First Days of the Pre-Season

Hi, sorry that I haven't posted for a few days, I was just waiting for a lot of games to have been played before I made a post. Here are some highlights from the weekend of the first pre-season games. Before we start, here is some news that QB Tyrod Taylor signs a 6 year contract extension with the Bills and the Cowboys sign a contract extension with amazing center Travis Frederick. Here are the highlights:

QB's: Seahawks backup QB (undrafted rookie) Trevone Boykin played amazing! He was fast, made great choices on throwing to open players and with 4 seconds left in the game he chucked a hail mary into the endzone and won the game! Pretty good. This years number 1 overall draft pick Jared Goff was TERRIBLE in the Rams game. The undrafted rookie QB played better than him. I'm feeling like he is going to make the Rams regret using that pick on him and end up being the next Nick Foles. Speaking of which, Nick Foles was great on the Chiefs, he will make for a great backup QB. Cowboys rookie QB Dak Prescott was amazing! Throwing amazing touchdowns, the Cowboys were looking for a good backup QB and it looks like Dak was the perfect fit. Number 2 overall pick QB Carson Wentz played very well for the Eagles and had some bad plays but was pretty good, he will be great in the future but he did suffer a hairline fracture on his ribs but its not to serious and he's expected to be back by the end of the pre-season. Robert Griffin III was pretty good in his first game with the Browns, he connected with receiver Terrelle Pryor a few times for some great catches but had an interception. Broncos QB's all played well which made the Broncos QB race very hard, Mark Sanchez, Trevor Siemian, and even Paxton Lynch were great. Patriots QB Jimmy Garapollo was pretty good and will be able to carry the Pats the first four games of the year.

RB's: Titans RB's DeMarco Murray and Derrick Henry (the starters) were AMAZING. They combined for 167 yards and 2 touchdowns! That's great. Murray looked like his old amazing self! It looked stupid when the Titans used their second pick on Derrick Henry right after they traded for DeMarco Murray but now I can see why and it was very smart. Murray will be the starter but Henry will still get lots of carries. The Titans will be good this year! Chargers rookie bust from last year Melvin Gordon played pretty well in the opener and I think he could be good this year. Watch him. Seahawks running back Christine Michael was amazing and explosive and could be good this year if Thomas Rawls gets hurt. Michael was great.

WR's: Browns receiver Terrelle Pryor was great in the pre-season opener and will probably become a starting receiver. Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas was pretty good and will also probably put higher on the depth chart. Rookie Sterling Shepard had a great catch before leaving the game early with a minor injury, he is back in practice already.

There is the Texans 49ers game on today, be sure to watch that and I will have a post about it. Thanks for reading.

Looking Forward to the Best Games of Week 1 Pre-season

Hi, today I am posting about this weeks upcoming pre-season games! Football is finally back starting this Thursday, tomorrow! I can't wait to get some action! Before we start, here is some quick news: Bills Star Rookie Reggie Ragland out for the season, Chargers WR Stevie Johnson out for the season also. Here are the great games of pre-season week 1:

Hall of Fame Game Colts Vs. Packers:
The first game of the season is always one of the best because everyone is excited to see football. Even though he shouldn't play much, it will be interesting to see how Andrew Luck plays after being injured almost all of last season and then this off-season he signed a deal that made him the highest paid player in NFL history. Will we see some of Jordy Nelson who got hurt in the pre-season last year and ended his season.

Broncos @ Bears:
This will be a great game! Mark Sanchez was named the Broncos starter a few days ago (sorry I forgot to post about that) and so it will be cool to see him play. I am interested to see if rookie QB Paxton Lynch will play, I hope he does because then maybe he could prove himself because he is for sure the best QB on the Broncos roster. Also we can finally see Kevin White on the Bears because he got hurt and was out the whole season last year, he was an early favorite to win rookie of the year. One more thing to add on is these teams are rivals so this is always a great game.

Seahawks @ Chiefs:
This will be a great game. When week 17 was over and the final playoff picture was in, these were my two teams that I said would play in the Super Bowl. The Seahawks have a lot of players coming back from injuries like Thomas Rawls, Jimmy Graham, and others so it will be awesome to see them take the field again. With the Chiefs it will be fun to see Nick Foles play a majority of the snaps since the starting QB Alex Smith probably won't play like most starters. On the Seahawks watch all of their rookie running backs because they drafted a lot of them. Watch receivers Doug Baldwin of the Seahawks and Jeremy Maclin of the Chiefs because they both had breakout years last year so it will be fun to see what they do.

Redskins @ Falcons:
Even though both of these teams aren't the best, they have players that will be fun to watch. Watching Josh Norman play for the Redskins should be exciting, Julio Jones Vs. Josh Norman is always fun. Also the Redskins wide receiver Josh Doctson will be exciting to watch and he should be a monster. Jordan Reed has a lot of questions around him but he is supposed to be a beast this season and he shouldn't be in for that much of the game because he is a star. Also since backups play a lot in pre-season games, check out Redskins backup running back Keith Marshall who was the player with the fastest 40 yard dash this year at the combine. On the Falcons watch backup RB Tevin Coleman who is supposed to get more carries this season after a disappointing rookie season.

Here are some other great match-ups without descriptions: Lions @ Steelers, Buccaneers @ Eagles, Jaguars @ Jets, Texans @ 49ers, Browns @ Packers, Cowboys @ Rams, Dolphins @ Giants. Thanks for reading and remember to watch the Hall of Fame game tomorrow, I will have a post about it after the game.

HALL OF FAME GAME CANCELED

WOW, earlier today I was talking about the hall of fame game but it was apparently canceled due to field conditions. I am very sad because I was excited to watch but instead the game will be on in 4 days on Thursday. Sorry for giving you guys the wrong information. :(

Best Undrafted Players

Hi, today I decided to do a post about the game's current best players who were undrafted. I am not counting retired players only current ones. Here is some quick news that QB Nick Foles signs with the Chiefs and CB Leon Hall signs with the Giants. Here is my list:

Josh Gordon, WR, Browns:
This is a crazy pick. Gordon was undrafted and turned out to be one of the top 3 wide receivers in the game! Gordon is an elite pass catcher who is as good as, if not better than stars like Antonio Brown, Odell Beckham Jr., and Julio Jones (the top 3 receivers in the league). Gordon has been suspended lately though and is finally coming back to the Browns after a 4 game suspension at the start of the season. This is one of the best undrafted players in the league!

Chris Harris, CB, Broncos:
Harris is in my opinion the 3rd best corner in the league. Thats crazy for an undrafted player. In 2 seasons Harris didn't let up ONE TOUCHDOWN. That is literally insane! Harris guards some of the best receivers and he didn't let up ONE touchdown in about 2 seasons! CRAZY! Harris is a beast. He is a lockdown corner. He didn't let up one touchdown in 2 seasons straight. And he was undrafted. CRAZY!

Adam Vinatieri, K, Colts:
Ok, ok, it sounds stupid that I put a kicker on my top current undrafted players list but listen to what he has done before you judge. Vinatieri has been in the league for so many years, he is the oldest player in the game right now! But back when he was young, he had Super Bowl winning kicks for the Patriots. Without him, the Patriots wouldn't have some of their rings that they have today. Vinatieri also is still a super great kicker. He might be the best kicker in NFL history and he was undrafted. Now you don't have a reason to judge him.

Malcolm Butler, CB, Patriots:
Butler is actually a great player. No one knew who he was but the Patriots signed him undrafted and when they were about to lose to the Seahawks in the final minutes of the Super Bowl, the Pats coaches put Butler in and he picked off the pass that would have won the Seahawks the Super Bowl! He saved the Super Bowl for the Pats, without him, the Pats wouldn't have another ring. He was also moved up in the cornerback depth chart this past year for the Pats and was pretty good! Butler has to be on this list.

Wes Welker, WR, Free Agent:
Welker may be an old free agent just short of retirement now, but back when he was on the Patriots and Broncos, he won Super Bowls for them. He was one of Tom Brady's passing weapons when he was in New England and for the 3rd time in this post I will say that a player helped win the Pats a ring. Welker was also a beast playing for Denver until injuries pretty much ended his career. Last year he had a very un-productive year playing for the Rams and now he is a free agent. But he used to be a Super Bowl winner and number 1 wide receiver.

Here are some other great undrafted players: Dolphins RB Arian Foster, Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin, Buccaneers CB Brent Grimes, Cowboys QB Tony Romo, Dolphins DE Cameron Wake. Thanks for reading.
