My Super Way Too Early Fantasy Rankings Part 2 RB's and WR's

Hi, this is part two of three of my position rankings. Make sure to also check out my first one. Before we start so big news that Peyton Manning is announcing retirement next week! Now here it is:

RB's:
1. Le'Veon Bell
2. Adrian Peterson
3. Todd Gurley
4. Thomas Rawls
5. David Johnson

Why: Bell is the no brainer no. 1 choice, he was injured most of this season and I think he will have a comeback year this upcoming season! Adrian Peterson had a great year this year and I think he will be back for more next season, he is a monster! Todd Gurley is was the OROY this year and played really well despite missing a few games, I'll see him do even better next year! Thomas Rawls was amazing when he stepped in for Marshawn Lynch, he probably would have played the whole year until he got injured, now that Marshawn is retired, Rawls will get the starting nod and I think he will play amazing knowing that he isn't backup. David Johnson was an amazing backup RB for the Cardinals, he scored a lot of TD's and I think he will probably get the starting job this upcoming season! Bad Upcoming Year: LeSean McCoy  Sleeper: Jeremy Langford  Deep Sleeper: C.J. Anderson  Top 6: 6. Doug Martin

WR's:
1. Julio Jones
2. Odell Beckham Jr.
3. Antonio Brown
4. Larry Fitzgerald
5. Jarvis Landry

Why: Julio Jones is really the only good WR on the Falcons making him the go to guy for Matt Ryan, he had a boss 2015 and I think he will have a boss 2016! OBJ is underrated and scored SO many TD's this year that it was crazy. This is the WR you want on your fantasy team! Antonio Brown is an overrated WR who is still great but not AMAZING. He is still good and will score a lot, plus he is Big Ben's favorite WR! Fitz had an amazing season with Carson Palmer back and just because he's older doesn't mean he is not good. Fitz is an amazing WR! Jarvis Landry had a quiet amazing year! He is becoming the next OBJ and he is a good bet for a high scoring WR you want on your team! Bad Upcoming Year: DeAndre Hopkins  Sleeper: Steve Smith Sr.  Deep Sleeper: Tyler Lockett Quiet Threat: Jeremy Maclin  Top 6. 6. Doug Baldwin  Draft Steal: Allen Robinson

Those are my Top RB and WR's and I hoped you liked it! Make sure to read my upcoming post soon, Kickers and Defenses!

My Super Way Too Early 2016-2017 Season Fantasy Position Rankings Part 1 QB's and TE's

Hi, I know most of you probably think I am crazy to still be blogging in the off-season but there is a lot going on now, I am going to show you my way to early fantasy position rankings for next season. Here they are:

QB:
1. Cam Newton
2. Tom Brady
3. Andrew Luck
4. Russell Wilson
5. Blake Bortles

Why: Some people might not want to get Cam Newton next year just because of his terrible super bowl performance. But, if you don't think about that one game Cam Newton is still the boss QB who won NFL MVP and Offensive Player of the Year. Brady is always great and had a great year, he will make a follow up to it with yet another great performance next year. Andrew Luck was a big let down this year but now that he is not battling injuries he is going to be great again! Russell Wilson is a young-fast QB who is great with all of Seattle's WR's. In his career Russell Wilson hasn't really had a bad year yet, expect another great season out of him! Blake Bortles was one of the best QB's this season! He had such a great year with all of his young WR's who started playing amazing! Bortles is my top 5 QB because his WR's can still get even better than their stellar performance this year! Bounce Back QB: Robert Griffin III (if he starts)  Bad Upcoming Year: Teddy Bridgewater  Sleeper: Drew Brees  Top 6: 6. Phillip Rivers

TE:
1. Rob Gronkowski
2. Gary Barnidge
3. Delanie Walker
4. Tyler Eifert
5. Benjamin Watson

Why: Gronk is the no brainer no. 1 TE, he has been for the past couple years! Gary Barnidge had a breakout season this season and I think that he will play well again under his new amazing coach Hue Jackson. Hue probably wants a new QB in Cleveland and so Barnidge will play even better with a new QB! Delanie Walker had a great year, he is easily Marcus Mariota's top pass catcher and will probably have more targets than any other WR! Tyler Eifert had a great season with Andy Dalton at QB, then Dalton got hurt and then he got hurt. Before that they were both playing amazing and I think he will play great again next year with Dalton back! Ben Watson had a silent breakout on the Saints. Watson had a few TD's and caught some long passes, he is starting to become Drew Brees' new Jimmy Graham and I can see the two working together for another good season for the both of them! Bounce Back: Jimmy Graham  Bad Upcoming Year: Travis Kelce  Sleeper: Ben Watson  Top 6: 6. Travis Kelce I also forgot to mention amazing TE Jordan Reed who should be no. 4 on this list!

So, those are my first 2 positions for fantasy I will talk about. My other positions will be coming soon and I hope you read this even though it is so long until next season.

Top Free Agents Who Need to Be Re-Signed

Hi, I know I haven't done a post in a long time but it is the offseason so I am trying to find things to blog about. I hope you keep checking on my blog every once in a while. Just because it is the offseason that doesn't mean nothing is happening.

Here are my top free agents:

Broncos QB Brock Osweiler: Osweiler needs to be re-signed by the Broncos. If Peyton Manning plays another season the Broncos will just up-right suck! Peyton Manning barely got by this season and the only way they won the super bowl was because of their D. With the 2nd to last pick in the first round, it would be hard to get a top college QB with such a high pick. Osweiler played decently when he started this year for a little. I think he is a future star and the Broncos want him at QB.

Redskins QB Robert Griffin III: RGIII needs to be signed by a team in need of the QB. The Redskins don't want him back but I think he could back up on the Cowboys or Seahawks or start for teams in need of a QB like the Browns, Vikings, and other teams. He could back up any team and so then they would have a good backup option. There are a number of teams that might want to start him and he is a great starter for any team. The Broncos might want him if they don't re-sign Brock Osweiler.

Broncos Pass Rusher Von Miller: The Broncos will of course re-sign the super 50 MVP who is a forced fumble machine. He is such a good player and had a great year. The Broncos will no doubtly re-sign him. If they for some reason don't, any team would be amazing with him. He is the best player in free-agency this year!

Seahawks CB DeShawn Shead: Shead is an under the radar rising star CB! Shead played great for the Seahawks this season and since he is so unknown the Seahawks could get him for cheap. He even had a better year than Richard Sherman. Who is one of the league's best CB's. Shead is a good lockdown CB who needs to be re-signed by Seattle.

Here are other important free-agents:
Buccaneers RB Doug Martin, Jets DE Muhamad Wilkerson, Bears RB Matt Forte', Dolphins RB Lamar Miller, Saints TE Benjamin Watson, Chiefs S Eric Berry, Giants DE Jason Pierre-Paul, Bengals FS Reggie Nelson, Panthers FB Mike Tolbert, Eagles FS Walter Thurmond, Seahawks LB Bruce Irvin, Colts K Adam Vinatieri, 49ers TE Vernon Davis, Ravens K Justin Tucker, Jets RB Chris Ivory, Chargers S Eric Weddle, Panthers WR Jerricho Cotchery, Rams CB Trumaine Johnson, Steelers CB William Gay, Panthers CB Josh Norman, Broncos MLB Danny Trevathan, Seahawks P Jon Ryan, Seahawks QB Tavaris Jackson, Giants K Josh Brown, Patriots RB LeGarrett Blount, Seahawks CB Jeremy Lane, Seahawks RB Fred Jackson, Broncos LB Brandon Marshall, Steelers QB Mike Vick, Chargers WR Dontrelle Inman, Saints K Kai Forbart, Cardinals LB Dwight Freeney, Rams WR Wes Welker, Seahawks RB Christine Micheal

There are so many free agents this year but these are all of the free agents that need announcement. Now you know your teams best players who need to be re-signed.

Big News For Chicago Bears!

Hi, I just learned some big news about something going on with the Chicago Bears. Star Veteran RB Matt Forte' was just told by the Bears that they will not re-sign him! Forte' has been the star RB for the Bears forever now. He was a top 3 running back last season. He even had a decent year this year, but when Forte' was injured for about 3 weeks, rookie RB Jeremy Langford stepped in and stepped up. He was really great and so the Bears probably want to start a young RB with a long career ahead of him. I can see Langford becoming Chicago's next Matt Forte'! Big news there! Another question though is where is star RB Forte' going to go next season. I am 99 percent sure that Forte' is not retiring so what team will he end up with?

One Great College Football Player to Look for in the 2017 Draft!

I know that the 2016 NFL draft is the upcoming draft but there is one player I saw a lot of this season. This player decided not to enter the NFL draft this year but to play out his last year in college. His name is Deshaun Watson and he is a star QB for Clemson. In the championship game this season, Watson's team did lose but he played well. He completed many passes and a few for TD's. He also rushed for 70 yards. I feel like he is the next Cam Newton because he is speedy and a great thrower. Watson might be the top pick in the draft in 2017. A bad team will be lucky to score a great QB who will most likely win the hiesman next year. I see Watson playing very well in 2016 on Clemson and then being a top 10 pick in the 2017 NFL draft. If he gets a team that is the right fit for him in the NFL draft then he will play great. Again, I just wanted to tell you guys about a great college QB who will have a great last college season and then I think a great NFL career. Watch out for him next year in college considering this season he lead his team to the college football championship!

Here are some great players to watch for in this year's draft:

Safety Jeremy Cash
Running Back Ezkiel Eilliot
Running Back Derrick Henry
Quarterback Carson Wentz
Cornerback Jalen Ramsey

Those are just some good players to look for in this upcoming draft. More posts on the offseason coming soon!

Who won the big game? Super Bowl 50 Winners Crowned!

Super Bowl 50: Broncos V. Panthers       My Predicted Winner: Panthers   Final Score: Panthers 10, Broncos 24

WHAT AN UPSET! Almost everyone was favoring the 17-1 Panthers to win the Super Bowl lead by NFL MVP Cam Newton and Coach of the Year Ron Rivera. Meanwhile the only hope was the Broncos #1 D. The D played even better than everyone expected. Cam Newton played terribly. He had 2+ fumbles and was sacked 6 times! Cam also had many incomplete passes and no TD throws. He also threw an interception. Super Cam was a no show tonight. Von Miller (who later won Super Bowl MVP) had an amazing game. He had a few forced fumbles, sacks, and tackles. Without him the D would have been much worse. Plus a rising star on the Broncos, Danny Trevathan had 2 fumble recovers and a few tackles. We knew it was going to be a defensive day when Von Miller sacked Cam Newton at the Panthers own 5 yard line and Newton fumbled it. It was then recovered by a Broncos player for a defensive TD. As I said not just Cam Newton played terribly but so did Peyton Manning. He could barely throw the ball and got less than 5 first downs the whole game! The punters were out on the field a lot on both teams. The reason you know the Broncos deserved the win was because the Broncos punted the ball on almost every offensive drive of theirs and the Panthers did nothing about it. The only players who were good on offense tonight for the Broncos were C.J. Anderson who had some great runs plus a TD and Emmanuel Sanders who had some key catches on offense. Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart was one of their only good players today who had a few rushes and the only Panthers TD. Broncos punt return man Jordan Norwood broke a super bowl record by having an amazing 63 yard punt return that was more punt return yards than any other punt return in super bowl history! The Broncos battled it out well and kind of deserved the win more than the show off Panthers. What a super bowl and who do you think will be in Super Bowl 51?

Also some quick news that Marshawn Lynch announced retirement and the Seahawks will likely start Thomas Rawls next year at RB!

I will have some more posts coming up soon, just because the season is over doesn't mean I won't keep blogging. In the offseason trades, retirement, signings happen all the time. I will write about the news for that and the draft is also coming up soon. Have a great offseason!

My Top 10 Players of the Year (Part 2/2)

Hi, here are my top 5 out of my top 10 players. Be sure to see the other 5 players in my top 10!

5. J.J. Watt Texans DE:
Last season J.J. Watt was ranked on NFL.com the no. 1 player of the 2014/2015 season. Don't get me wrong, he had an almost as good season this year but there are still some players that I have to put on the list ahead of him. Watt had a monster 17.5 sacks this season which is REALLY good for any D player. Also considering the Texans are so bad, it is crazy that J.J.'s game is so good. Watt also had 3 forced fumbles and one fumble recovery! Which is also really good. Watt had 8 passes defended which is amazing for a defensive end because they are cornerbacks looking to swat and intercept passes but they rush the QB, so having 8 passes defended is great. Since Watt is such an important player to the Texans they actually lined him up in a few different positions this year he played DE the most obviously but he also had one play as a RB and one play as a QB, both of them almost resulting in TD's! J.J. also had 17 stuffs. Another great season for J.J. Watt, but not as good as last year which is why I am putting him higher on this list then I would have last year.

4. Odell Beckham Jr. Giants WR:
OBJ had a season that was almost and maybe even better than his monster rookie season. This season OBJ had a whopping 96 catches for 1450 yards and 13 TD's! OBJ was one of the only reasons people thought that the Giants might win their division. The reason they thought Odell was the Giants only hope was because he is a beast. If you look at his stats for this season 1450 yards, 96 catches, and 13 TD's. Those are crazy awesome stats. OBJ only had a few down games this season but I think Odell caught a TD pass almost every single game this season including some games that he scored more than one TD like his monster game against the Saints where he had 3 TD's in one game! Crazy right. Last season OBJ was offensive rookie of the year, this year he could win another big award for an even better season! Odell also is known for his one handed catches one of them last year was the play of the year. This year Odell had one well known one handed TD catch against the Redskins that could win him play of the year for the second year in a row! For returning OBJ didn't do much because the Giants got amazing returner and former Cowboy Dwayne Harris who is a great returner (in the top 5 for me at least) so Odell only got 2 attempts for 26 on punt returns the whole year which is totally ok because he is so good in catching. If you ask me OBJ was the best WR this season even though most people overrate Antonio Brown and say he is but if you compare the stats Odell's are better and that is why I am giving him the no. 4 spot on my top 10 players of the year. One fun fact is that Odell is my favorite player in the NFL!

3. Marcus Peters Chiefs CB:
Some people might be thinking, WHAT!? Why is he overrating this rookie CB Marcus Peters. I would ask me the same question but looking at his stats, that is why I put him in such a great spot for my top players. First of all, without looking at his stats you know he is good. He is basically a lock for defensive rookie of the year and he tied for most interceptions in the league! IN HIS FIRST SEASON! He tied the league leading interceptions with Panthers Josh Norman with 8 picks! One amazing stat is that on the run backs of each interception, Peters total 280 yards! WHAT!? I know right? 280 yards, that's so much for interception run backs. Two of his picks were pick sixes so he had 2 TD's on the season also! Peters also had a forced fumble, which is rare for a CB. Peters lead the top 3 Chiefs D in most categories. Combined for all of his tackles this season he had 60! That is also REALLY good for any D player! Peters also had 26 passes defended which is pretty good! If you see his stats I am not overrating him. He had a really great rookie year landing himself a top 3 spot in my top 10 player of the year!

2. Luke Kuechly Panthers LB:
Here is a player that no one is surprised about him making the list very high up. Kuechly is a great player who has helped the Panthers go all the way to the Super Bowl! Kuechly had 4 interceptions this year in the regular season. One even being a pick 6! Kuechly had a whopping 118 total tackles which is really good for a good LB. Kuechly had 2 forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. Those are great stats but most people may be thinking, why is he ranked higher than J.J. Watt and Marcus Peters who both had better stats then him. Well, here is why. In the postseason which is of course the most important time of the season, Kuechly made game changing plays. He had 2 pick that were both pick sixes and I think one pick six against the Seahawks that without it, they would have lost. Kuechly had a fumble recovery also. All of these important plays made Kuechly the Panthers player of the postseason because without some of HIS plays, the Panthers would not be in the Super Bowl right now! Kuechly is almost a sureshot at defensive player of the year (which will be announced tommorow night!) With his amazing plays, Luke Kuechly earned himself the no. 2 spot on this list!

1. (MY PLAYER OF THE YEAR) Cam Newton Panthers QB:
This is no surprise to anyone because of what an amazing season Cam Newton has had. Most people probably have already exited out of this post because they know who no. 1 was going to be. It may be boring to see Cam Newton's name the no. 1 of another top players list. But, it's true Cam Newton had a great year leading the Panthers to a 15-1 record and then to the super bowl! Not including the post season (which is a whole other story) Cam Newton had 35 passing TD's which is amazing!! I am pretty sure that is the most TD passes from one QB this season. Newton had a whopping 296 complete passes. Newton also only had 10 total interceptions and only 1 fumble this season. Which is much different than when last season he had 6 fumbles. Now those stats may not sound that great to you (they are though) but his rushing was really great also. Newton had 10 rushing TD's which is really amazing for any non-RB but for a QB that is even better! Newton also had 636 rushing yards which is crazy for a QB, that is more than some low end RB's like Isaiah Crowell. Newton did have 4 fumbles rushing but that isn't too bad. Now the postseason is a whole different story. This post season Newton has had 496 passing yards and 3 TD's. That is pretty good for any postseason QB. For rushing Newton had 2 rushing TD's and 50 rushing yards. Those stats aren't that amazing but added on to his amazing regular season stats they are even better. Newton had such a great year and he will surely win the NFL MVP award because of his amazing season! Newton also had one run where on the goal line he jumped and did a flip over the defenders to get the TD! That could win play of the year! Cam Newton by far had the best season he had ever had and some QB's will never have such a great season in their whole careers!

That is my top 10 players of the year, I hoped you liked it and stay tuned for the NFL Honors awards tonight and Super Bowl 50 tommorow!

Here are some honorable mentions for the list: Todd Gurley, Doug Martin, Earl Thomas, Aaron Donald, Geno Atkins, Tom Brady, Russell Wilson, and DeAndre Hopkins

My Top 10 Players of the Year (Part 1)

Hi, with the superbowl coming up soon I felt like I needed to write a post about who I think are the top 10 players of this season. 10 being the worst on the list, 1 being the best. Before I start that here is some quick NFL news:

Browns set to cut QB Johnny Manziel on March 9th! Andrew Luck is finally back to full health and will be good for next season!

10. Tyler Lockett Seahawks WR/KR/PR
Some people may be surprised that in his first season I put Tyler Lockett on my top 10 list. Lockett was pretty under the radar this year, but if you actually watched him play you would see how good he played. As a WR Lockett had 51 catches for 664 yards and 6 TD's. That is great for any WR. Lockett is also a top 3 fastest player in the NFL. Kick returning Lockett was even better having 33 attempts and 852 yards! He also had a kickoff return for a TD in the opening season game against the Rams. Also two returning TD's in the preseason. So, he is a great kick returner and NFL analysts are ranking Lockett the No. 1 kick returner of the year which is great. For punt returns Lockett was also great having 16 attempts for still 379 yards and one punt returning TD. Lockett was a great punt return man also. If you add all of these amazing under the radar stats you get 1895 all purpose yards and 8 all purpose TD's. Lockett was a great player and had more total yards than probably any other rookie. He may not be well known but he deserves this spot on the top 10!

9. Eric Berry Chiefs S
Eric Berry had a great year! At the start of the season, the Chiefs were complete fails starting 1-5. Then they won the next 10 games plus one playoff game against the Texans before losing to the Patriots in the divisional round. The reason they stepped up their game was mostly because of their D. By the end of the season the Chiefs D was one of the top 3 D's in the league! Some of this was because of the help of Eric Berry. Berry finished the season with 2 interceptions totaling to 40 returning yards plus one post season interception against the Texans. Another thing was anyone passing his way was not going to do much because he was great at covering any player that went his way. People say that Earl Thomas or Kam Chancellor are the best safeties, even being a Seahawks fan I disagree and say that Eric Berry right now is the best safety. He had a really strong year and so he makes this top 10 list at no. 9. 9 might seem bad, but to me I am ranking him the 9th best player in the whole NFL that has thousands of players. Berry is a great safety.

8. Rob Gronkowski Patriots TE
Patriots fans will probably be mad to see Gronk up so high on this list. I think that Gronk did have a great year but I don't think it was one of his best. Gronk is good but a little overrated. This season Gronk had 72 catches for 1176 yards. That is really good for a TE because the WR's are normally the QBs' first option. Gronk is really too good to pass up the option on passing to him. Get it, pass up on passing to him. That was a bad joke but anyways he is really good. I already think that Gronk is going to go down as the best TE in NFL history. 1176 yards is REALLY good for a TE! Plus this stat doesn't really matter but this season Gronk had one attempt to return a kickoff and it was for only 5 yards. In the end Gronk had 1181 all purpose yards which is great for a TE, but it's not just any TE, it's legendary Gronk!

7. Larry Fiztgerald Cardinals WR
What a big comeback year it has been for Larry Fitzgerald. Last year he only had 63 catches for 784 yards and only 2 TD's. He also had a fumble. This year, Fitz lead the Cardinals on offense helping them make it to the NFC championship but sadly losing. This season Fitz had a whopping 109 catches for 1215 yards and 9 TD's. Fitz did have 2 fumbles though. You can see that he had great stats this season and is a great WR. In the divisional playoff round against the Packers, Fitz had an amazing play for about 60 yards that set the Cardinals up for the winning TD. Fitz has helped the Cardinals so much this season and is a great WR. That is why he gets the no. 7 spot on my top 10 players of the year list!

6. Von Miller Broncos LB
Some people might either be surprised that Miller made this list at all or surprised at how low high he is on this list. Miller had a quiet but great season. Miller totaled 11.0 sacks in the regular season and a few more in the post season. (Most of them on Tom Brady!) Miller had no interceptions on the year except one important one in the playoffs (again on Brady!) Miller had a mind blowing 4 forced fumbles with 2 fumble recoveries! Miller also had 5 assisted tackles! Miller has again had a quiet but great season, and I wonder if he will have any good plays on future MVP QB Cam Newton. If Von Miller makes any game changing plays in the super bowl, I would move him down closer to no. 1 on this list. Miller has had a great year which will be a great case for him next season when his contract runs out and Denver might re-sign him.

Those are my first five top players of the year and I will be posting my last 5 very soon. In the comments below write who you want to see in the top 5!
