Erik Walden, LB: The veteran LB should be signed by now. He had 11 sacks last season! 11! Thats a crazy amount and anyone who does that should get PAID! Even a 1 year deal for a 31 year wouldn't be bad because he can probably still play and 1 year isn't too much cash for your team. Walden will be a steal pickup for any team that picks up the breakout veteran.

Dwight Freeney, LB: This isn't a no-brainer signing or anything but Freeney would be a nice pickup for any defense. The potential future hall of famer would be a pickup for any team that I would be running. Even though he is pretty old, he can still play a bit. He had 3 sacks last season but what excites me most about him is he is such a leader on any team he plays for. He can teach all the young guys what to do. I think it would be a good pickup for the Browns to help even teach young Myles Garrett.

Tramaine Brock, CB: Sometimes I don't understand why some players are still sitting on the market and this is one of them. Brock has been a quality corner for the 49ers last season he even had 10+ passes defended and an interception. Not bad. At least in my opinion. I'm surprised to see the young guy still on the market.
Tre Boston, S: Even though he hasn't been amazing, he has been a decently good safety for the Panthers and lets not forget that he's 24! 24! Thats so young. He can learn from his mistakes and make his play on the field better by looking at what he did wrong. Boston is a great player and I won't be surprised if he gets his deal.

Colin Kaepernick, QB: He is probably the last QB on the market to maybe have a chance at starting again and maybe even becoming elite again. He is still 29 and I think if he gets onto a team, he may be able to compete for the starting job and possibly take it. I wouldn't be to surprised if the Browns threw him into the mix and maybe gave him a chance at QB. He deserves another chance.

Larry Donnell, TE: The former Giants TE is still very young and looks like he could become a great tight end. This may be attractive to some teams still looking for a tight end. I think Donnell could be good but he wasn't be used right in New York and maybe another team would target him more.
Victor Cruz, WR: He sounds like he wants to play desperately and he doesn't care where. Thats a good additude for a free agent. Cruz was actually impressive last season. After coming off of a big injury, Cruz was playing WR3/4 which means he would get the ball less than OBJ, Sterling Shepard, and the tight ends but he still managed 500+ yards. Give him some sort of role, maybe he could break 1000!

Darrelle Revis, CB: I had to fit him onto the list. The likely future hall of famer is still open due to some legal issues early this off-season. Revis has looked old and washed up lately and not the same firey corner that he was in New England a few years back. Still he could still be good and he is one of the biggest names left, I think he could rope in a team by week 1.
Thanks for reading about the best free agents still open. There are still some hidden gems.
