Teams with Best Draft Classes

Hi, the draft is finally over :( but now all of the young stars will be getting to work. Today I will be talking about which teams did the best in this years NFL draft, one of the most important events in the season. Here it is:

Cleveland Browns:
Round 1, 1 overall: Myles Garrett, DE, Texas A&M
Round 1, 25 overall: Jabrill Peppers, S, Michigan
Round 1, 29 overall: David Njoku, TE, Miami
Round 2, 50 overall: DeShone Kizer, QB, Notre Dame
Round 3, 65 overall: Larry Ogunjobi, DT, North Carolina Charlotte
Round 4, 126 overall: Howard Wilson, CB, Houston
Round 5, 160 overall: Roderick Johnson, OT, Florida State
Round 6, 185 overall: Caleb Brantley, DT, Florida
Round 7, 224 overall: Zane Gonzales, K, Arizona State
Round 7, 252 overall: Matt Dayes, RB, N.C. State:
What a draft haul this was. The Browns have so many picks and they got some great talent. There 3 first round picks are all great picks. Myles Garrett will have a huge impact on a mediocre pass rush, Jabrill Peppers will be elite in the secondary and David Njoku will give whatever QB they start a good weapon. DeShone Kizer was an amazing pick in the 2nd round. A first round talented QB for the QB-needy Browns will end up paying off and I could see Kizer ending the long string of Browns QBs. Their 6th round pick Caleb Brantley could be elite if he stays in a good character because the first round talent was having issues causing his draft fall. The Browns also snagged the best kicker in the draft who can hit some long field goals, he may help the Browns get some extra points. This was a good draft! GRADE: A

Baltimore Ravens:
Round 1, 16 overall: Marlon Humphrey, CB, Alabama
Round 2, 47 overall: Tyus Bowser, LB, Houston
Round 3, 74 overall: Chris Wormley, Michigan
Round 3, 78 overall: Tim Williams, LB, Alabama
Round 4, 122 overall: Nico Siragusa, OG, San Diego State
Round 5, 159 overall: Jermaine Eluemunor, OT, Texas A&M:
I think this may be the best draft class in the draft. Starting off with a bang by selecting elite corner Marlon Humphrey will really turn up the teams pass defense. Round 2 selecting Tyus Bowser who will be a great upgrade and will provide a very bright future at the position. Their next 2 picks were absolute steals. Chris Wormley, a first round talent will really help the defense and then another big first round talent Tim Williams just makes this defense I think elite this coming year. This was a great draft haul for the Ravens. GRADE: A

Denver Broncos:
Round 1, 20 overall: Garrett Bolles, OT, Utah
Round 2, 51 overall: DeMarcus Walker, DE, Florida State
Round 3, 82 overall: Carlos Henderson, WR Louisiana Tech
Round 3, 101 overall: Brendan Langley, CB, Lamar
Round 5, 145 overall: Jake Butt, TE, Michigan
Round 5, 172 overall: Isiah McKenzie, WR, Georgia
Round 6, 203 overall: De'Angelo Henderson, RB, Coastal Carolina
Round 7, 253 overall: Chad Kelly, QB, Ole Miss:
The Broncos hit a home run with this draft class. Garrett Bolles was probably the best O-lineman in the draft and will give a big impact to a faulty O-line. DeMarcus Walker was a great pick because he can fill some holes on the defense and will be a young player for the future. Jake Butt was a steal because he was a first round talent before a big injury and will be a future ELITE tight end. That was a huge steal. The last pick in the entire draft could end up being really good, Chad Kelly looked amazing in college and if the Broncos can't name a starter this year, maybe Kelly could be ready but in a year boy he will be good. That was one of my favorite picks in the draft. GRADE: B+

Cinncy Bengals:
Round 1, 9 overall: John Ross, WR, Washington
Round 2, 48 overall: Joe Mixon, RB, Oklahoma
Round 3, 78 overall: Jordan Willis, LB, Kansas State
Round 4, 116 overall: Carl Lawson, LB, Auburn
Round 4, 128 overall: Josh Malone, WR, Tennessee
Round 4, 138 overall: Ryan Glasgow, DT, Michigan
Round 5, 153 overall: Jake Elliott, K, Memphis
Round 5, 176 overall: J.J. Dielman, C, Utah
Round 6, 193 overall: Jordan Evans, LB, Oklahoma
Round 6, 203 overall: Brandon Wilson, RB, Houston
Round 7, 251 overall: Mason Schreck, TE, Buffalo:
While this draft class did bring in a lot of nobodies, their first few picks were studs. John Ross 9th overall was such a fun, good pick and he will be a great complement for A.J. Green. Joe Mixon may have some issues but it seems like he has maybe gotten over them and if he does, he was a first round talent and he could be an elite running back for the Bengals. Jordan Willis is a great linebacker and will totally help this defense. Josh Malone looks like he could be a decent receiver. Jordan Evans was good at Oklahoma and may be good in the NFL. GRADE: B
