Hi, today I was thinking about some of the best players in the league and then the MVP award came up so today I will list 10 players I think could win MVP except for no QBs on the list because they are usually the only position on the list because of their role on the team. Here are 10 non-QBs that have a great shot at MVP next season:
Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Cowboys:
Zeke was snubbed of rookie of the year last year for his own teams QB. He lead the league in rushing and he has such great skills like hurdles and spins and he also runs behind the best O-line in the league. Why wouldn't he have a great chance?
Leonard Fournette, RB, Jaguars:
The 4th overall pick in this years draft looks like he could make the elite RB group (Zeke Elliott, Le'Veon Bell, and David Johnson). He has the rare skillset that Adrian Peterson had coming out of college which is size and speed. If he plays like most people think he will, he could be up for grabs for MVP, rookie of the year, and a spot in the elite RB group which currently stays at 3 until we see Fournette.
David Johnson, RB, Cardinals:
Johnson had one of the best seasons in awhile for an RB. He had so many touchdowns, so many yards, and just couldn't be brought down. For fantasy football a lot of people have him as their no. 1 overall pick. Johnson is a tackle breaking and all purpose yard machine. He can do anything asked of him and the Cardinals will continue to lean on him. He could win MVP.
Le'Veon Bell, RB, Steelers:
The last, but surely not the least player off the board of the elite RB group (again, David Johnson, Zeke Elliott, and BELL). Bell was healthy last year and went off again. His game against the Bills was one of the craziest indiviual performances I have seen. Bell runs behind such a good line and is so talented that I can see him with a shot at MVP.
Julio Jones, WR, Falcons:
In my opinion, the best receiver of last year, Jones could win MVP. He is huge, speedy, and can catch ANYTHING! His overlooked Super Bowl catch would have been the play of the night had Julian Edleman not made his catch. Jones could win MVP if Matt Ryan can have another great season and deliver the ball well to him.
Khalil Mack, LB/DE, Raiders:
The Raiders star who won Defensive Player of the Year last year could take it to the next level and win MVP. While an offensive player usually wins, it may not be the case if Mack has anything to say about it. Mack dominated so well last year that he went All-Pro...IN TWO POSITIONS!! Thats literally insane. If Mack can go All-Pro in two positions, he can win MVP. Just wait...
J.J. Watt, DE, Texans:
The 3-time Defensive Player of the Year may be able to finally cash in for the MVP award. Anytime you win that big of an honor...THREE TIMES, the chances are you have a great shot at MVP. His peers think he's a great player too, in 2015 despite not winning MVP, his peers voted him as the no. 1 player of the year over MVP Aaron Rodgers. It could be his time to bounce back from an injured season to MVP.
Tyreek Hill, WR, Chiefs:
I know this one may be crazy to some of you, but one of my favorite receivers in the league I think could have a great shot at MVP. Last year he broke out on some huge yardage plays, and he was down in the receiver depth chart. Now currently, he is the Chiefs no. 1 receiver. Hill is so explosive and with the ability to get a lot of looks for the entire season this time, could get him to some sort of MVP status.
Odell Beckham Jr., WR, Giants:
The Giants receiver is another shoe-in to this list. He has been part of the elite receiver group in every year of his career in my opinion at least. The former offensive rookie of the year is Eli Manning's favorite target and I think he could have himself an MVP season. Manning may break out again and Beckham could get a lot of targets like usual. Beckham always has a great shot at the big award.
Brandin Cooks, WR, Patriots:
Another maybe surprise for the list, instead of Antonio Brown who I am not a fan of, Cooks makes the top 10 list. The last time Tom Brady had an explosive receiver was Randy Moss who exploded that year and got 21 TDs on the season. Cooks has amazing speed and the ability to easily break free from defenders. Cooks is such a rising star and being on the best team in the league with the best QB ever only helps his case.
Just Missed the list: Antonio Brown WR Steelers, Von Miller LB Broncos, Eric Decker WR Titans, Landon Collins S Giants, Jay Ajayi RB Dolphins, Jordan Howard RB Bears
Thanks for reading about 10 non-QBs I think could win MVP.

Zach Orr Spices up the Market
Hi, sorry I haven't posted in awhile, NFL news has been pretty slow lately but something did happen that I thought I should post about. Former Ravens LB Zach Orr is coming out of retirement and I am going to talk about what this means:
Orr was one of the most promising young stars on the Ravens defense, then spinal injuries cut his career short. Its looking like he is feeling confident enough to come out of retirement. Lets just start off by saying, Orr isn't just a random old free agent that will sit on the free agent market, he is only 25, he played last season and retired after it, he has been named an All-Pro linebacker which means that he was the best at his position one year (All-Pro is where at the end of the season, all of the NFL players and people vote on who they think is the best at each position and the winners get named All-Pro. It looks great on their resumes for the rest of their football career and its a huge honor). Orr also lead the Ravens in solo tackles with 132. He had the most tackles by at least 30 on his team which is crazy. Orr has basically never retired because he retired at the end of the year and has come out of retirement later in the off-season. Orr will be hot on the market and I'm excited to see where the
young star lands. Here are some of his potential landing spots:
Baltimore Ravens:
I'm sure that the Ravens will want him back. He PRODUCED for them last season and I can't see why they wouldn't want their young star back in the lineup. Orr also said he has 'no clue' where he will land but the 'perfect situation' would be to play for the Ravens. Even if he gets many offers, I bet he will pick the Ravens if they send him an offer. The Ravens struggled without him so I don't know why he wouldn't see an offer come in from them.
Detroit Lions:
The Lions do need some help at LB but what obviously stands out about the Lions is that they are the first team to already schedule a meeting/workout with Orr which is why I think the Lions are a great candidate. If no other team schedules a workout with him which is supposed to be this Thursday, Orr could just sign with the Lions. I think Orr would be a good fit with the Lions and it will be interesting to see if Orr will wait for potentially more meetings with other teams or sign on the spot with Detroit.
Oakland Raiders:
Sure they do have Bruce Irvin, but I think they could use Orr. They have pretty much no one at the LB2 spot and Orr would immediatly be an amazing upgrade for a defense that is rising to be one of the best young defenses in the league. Orr could be a missing piece in a Super Bowl run for the
Raiders.
Seattle Seahawks:
The Hawks have been trying to invest in young talent all off-season and bringing in Orr who could be a potential star for years to come to be great for the Seahawks. The team is really good at using young defenders and Orr could be great in Seattle. I think Orr would be jazzed to be on such a contending team.
Indianapolis Colts:
The Colts don't have pretty much anyone at LB. Orr could become a star on the Colts D. I think he would be excited to have such a role on the Colts defense and I think he would be pretty good. Orr could have a good chance of landing in Indianapolis.
Thanks for reading and I'll try to keep you posted about where Orr lands, right now his top landing spots are in fact the Lions and Ravens.

Rookie Questions!
Hi, today I am doing a post about rookies. I will answer some questions I have made up for rookies and rookie of the year predictions. I will answer all the questions with the players I think will win. Here it is:
OFFENSIVE ROOKIE OF THE YEAR:
The Favorite: Leonard Fournette, RB, Jaguars:
I think Fournette will easily be rookie of the year. I'm sure a lot of other people do too. Fournette will walk into a pretty good situation where he will likely win the starting job over decent backs Chris Ivory and T.J. Yeldon. I think Fournette is one of the best running backs coming out of college I personally have ever seen. His rare mix of size and speed make for an unreal statline. Fournette could get a lot of carries and the Jags have a pretty good O-line plus a slumping QB that will look to handoff the ball a lot. Fournette could have as good of a rookie year as Zeke!
The Attractive Pick: Deshaun Watson, QB, Texans:
Watson would be such a fun player to win ROY. He was a National Champion as he came off one of the best college QB careers that we've also seen in awhile. Watson is a QB and rookie QBs are usually pretty fun to watch. He is likely the only rookie QB with a good chance to start and play a lot of games. I would love to see the Texans new QB as rookie of the year.
<<Honorable Mention Attractive Pick: John Ross, WR, Bengals>>
The Sleeper Pick: Evan Engram, TE, Giants:
I LOVE Engram to the Giants. I think Engram was such an interesting tight end in college considering he has the body of a receiver. Even though he was a first round pick, who has a projected 2nd round tight end who is on a team with Odell Beckham and Brandon Marshall the favorite to win rookie of the year. Probably no one. Engram could have a good shot though if Eli Manning wants to throw to his young, fast tight end a lot. Engram could end up surprising a lot of people.
<<Honorable Mention Sleeper Pick: Joe Mixon, RB, Bengals>>
The Late Round Surprise Pick: Dede Westbrook, WR, Jaguars (4th round):
If Westbrook works his way into the receiving lineup where he will actually get playtime, he could have a Tyreek Hill like rookie year. Westbrook was a top Heisman candidate last season where he exploded at Oklahoma with his crazy speed. If the Jags can work him into the lineup he could be a huge weapon for Blake Bortles!
<<Honorable Mention Surprise Late Round Pick: Ryan Switzer, WR, Cowboys>>
DEFENSIVE ROOKIE OF THE YEAR:
The Favorite: Myles Garrett, DE, Browns:
Easily everyones favorite for the award. The worst team in football wouldn't pass up on a QB if they didn't think Myles Garrett wasn't by far the best player in the draft and possibly a once in a generational TYPE player. Garrett was a monster at Texas A&M and the Browns will use him well. He should be a terrorist for opposing QBs unless he is a total bust like most Browns top picks lately.
The Attractive Pick: T.J. Watt, LB, Steelers:
A lot of people would love it if Watt, the younger brother of star JJ Watt won DROY. It would be such an ATTRACTIVE storyline. Watt will likely be actually pretty good for the Steelers when he starts playing. He will start and he will perform. There is also that exciting game on Christmas where the Watt brothers face off for the first time when the Steelers face the Texans. Watt winning DROY would be very exciting.
The Sleeper Pick: Obi Melifonwu, S, Raiders:
The Seahawks were about to draft phenom S Melifonwu when the Raiders stepped up at the last minute and grabbed him. Now he may have a great sleeper shot at rookie of the year. He will likely start for the Raiders who will use him well. Since he will be starting, I think he could have a really good year and play like a first round talent. I like the pick of him for the Raiders even though I was sad my Seahawks didn't get him.
The Late Round Surprise Pick: Caleb Brantley, DT, Browns (6th Round):
Brantley was the best player this late in the draft, the problem was he had some off the field issues that we don't really need to get into. Brantley has moved past them and is now working hard on the Browns. He was a 1st to 2nd round talent before this issue came up and so since he was drafted so late, he is likely the biggest steal in the draft if he starts at defensive tackle. Don't be surprised to hear if this 6th round pick does really well.
<<Honorable Mention Late Round Surprise Pick: Tedric Thompson, S, Seahawks>>

Ranking the NFL Head Coaches
Hi, I usually rank players but today I am ranking my top 10 head coaches in the league. If a new head coach makes the list it means I thought they were good in whatever role they had on their other team and if I think they will be good on their new team. Here it is:
10. Sean McVay, Rams:
I can't put him very high up on this list because he is one of the new head coaches. He is one of the youngest coaches EVER and some players on the team will be older then him. He looks like a young Gruden coach and he is set up to become a great coach.
9. Kyle Shannahan, 49ers:
My favorite staff signing of the year, the Niners got lucky enough to snag top notch former Falcons offensive coordinator for the team. He won Assistant Coach of the year this past year and has a great leadership confidence about him. He should become one of the best coaches in the league.
8. Mike McCarthy, Packers:
The Packers coach has lead this team to so many great apperances, a super bowl, and has turned Aaron Rodgers into the stud he is. Without him, who knows what this Packers team could look like. They may not have been nearly as good.
7. Jason Garrett, Cowboys:
I personally am not a fan of Garrett but he is a great coach. He won coach of the year this past year which is an honor and he has made a super Cowboys team. He is an ace at drafting snagging Zeke, Dak Prescott, and other great players in the last few years. Garrett is the rock of the Cowboys.
6. Andy Reid, Chiefs:
Andy Reid went from a bad coach that was fired from the Eagles to a top notch, "elite" coach. Reid has been responsible for the Chiefs dominance in the last 2 years and he keeps making moves that is making his team better an better.
5. Dan Quinn, Falcons:
Quinn really became a top of the line coach after this year. He turned a sad team into a Super Bowl runner up powerhouse. He had confidence in his team and with the help of Kyle Shannahan, turned Matt Ryan into an MVP. Quinn also made his running back core one of the best in football. Quinn has become a great coach for a superb Falcons team.
4. Jack Del Rio, Raiders:
Del Rio was my pick for coach of the year after this year. He really converted a halfway decent Raiders football team into a playoff powerhouse that would have gone deep if turned star QB Derek Carr didn't get hurt. Rio made risks that could have devestated the team but ended up really paying off like important 2 point conversions.
3. Mike Tomlin, Steelers:
Tomlin has the best bond with his players in the league. Thats what makes a great coach. The team loves him. He is a former football player that lays a sturdy hand on a Steelers team that has some of the best talent in the league. Tomlin has really been great for this Steelers team and the whole team LOVES him.
2. Pete Carroll, Seahawks:
Carroll has bounced around football, but landed with the flying high Hawks for the best stage yet of his career. Carroll has turned a young, broken Seahawks team into a bonded core of amazing young players. He took a chance on Russell Wilson and it payed off. He took a chance with Richard Sherman and it paid off. Carroll makes his team have a different mentality than others. At practices instead of saying "Wow, get better" when someone drops a pass, Carroll goes, "Its ok, we're getting better at this". He is a very incouraging leader for a great team.
1. Bill Belichick, Patriots:
The longtime Pats coach is maybe the best coach ever and currently un-doubtly the best coach in football. Belichick has lead the best team in football for years. He got them many Super Bowl rings with likely many more to come. He is said to be willing to coach for many mores years. He helped take the chance on Tom Brady. He brought stars like Randy Moss, Darrelle Revis, LeGarrette Blount, Malcolm Butler, Rob Gronkowski, and many more stars to New England. He has been the best coach for awhile.

Fantasy Mock Draft #2
Hi, I know that again the season is far away, but I get a headstart making my mock drafts so anyone who would want to prepare this early or start even thinking about it can. I made a mock draft no. 1 a few weeks ago and if you scroll down the blog you can find it. Remember, I am doing this draft with other people online so its not just who I would take in a dream situation, its actual people I'm drafting "against" Here it is:
Round 1, 3rd overall: Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Cowboys
Round 2, 14th overall: Jordan Howard, RB, Bears
Round 3, 19th overall: Leonard Fournette, RB, Jaguars
Round 4, 30th overall: Brandin Cooks, WR, Patriots
Round 5, 35th overall: Michael Crabtree, WR, Raiders
Round 6, 46th overall: Tyreek Hill, WR, Chiefs
Round 7, 51st overall: Andrew Luck, QB, Colts
Round 8, 62nd overall: Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Panthers
Round 9, 67th overall: Joe Mixon, RB, Bengals
Round 10, 78th overall: Adrian Peterson, RB, Saints
Round 11, 83rd overall: Evan Engram, TE, Giants
Round 12, 94th overall: John Ross, WR, Bengals
Round 13, 99th overall: Giants Defense
Round 14, 110th overall: Thomas Rawls, RB, Seahawks
Round 15, 115th overall: Ben Roethlisberger, QB, Steelers
Round 16, 126th overall: Younghoe Koo, K, Chargers
Analysis:
Zeke would be my first overall pick if I had the pick so I was happy that last years leading rusher fell to me at 3! At 14, Jordan Howard was a steal and so I picked him up so I had a great starting RB core. In round 3 people would have picked a receiver likely after taking 2 RBs but I went RB 3 times because Fournette may have as good of a rookie year as Zeke so now I had 2 RBs and a flex player. I had to take a receiver next and Cooks may have play as well as Randy Moss when he was on the Pats. Michael Crabtree was my next pick because he had such a great year last year and he was a WR2 so I think he will be good. I kept on the pattern and picked my 3rd receiver in a row in Tyreek Hill. He was probably my favorite receiver and he was really good. I was excited to have him as a top notch backup. I finally went QB next and took Colts QB Andrew Luck who is pretty much elite every year. Kelvin Benjamin fell very far but we have to remember he is a quality WR1 so I had to get him. Joe Mixon will break out and take the Bengals starting RB role. I have him as a great shot at rookie of the year. Adrian Peterson is one of the biggest risks this year, but drafting him this late he may even play as well as he did a few years ago. I picked my starting tight end late in Evan Engram and you know why if you read my last post completely about him. John Ross was another rookie that I took. He will likely be the WR2 on the Bengals and he is the fastest player in the league so I made sure to get him. The Giants defense was so good last year and they were so fun to watch that I took that defense even over the Broncos and Seahawks. Thomas Rawls was a steal because I think he will end up becoming the Hawks starting RB again and then he will produce and I got him so late. Big Ben has never had a non-elite year. He has fallen so far in drafts and so I got him very late. My last pick was my kicker and most people have not heard of the kicker Koo. Koo isn't the teams starting kicker yet but has a really good shot at taking the job and I thought it would be good to tell people who he was just so they would know. He may become an ELITE kicker if he gets the job. That pick was more to tell you guys who that guy is than an actual great pick.

Rookie of the Year Watch: Evan Engram
Hi, today I am writing a post about a rookie I think has a chance to be REALLY good this season and a potential shot at rookie of the year. Here it is:
With the 23rd pick in the 2017 NFL Draft the New York Giants select...Evan Engram, tight end, Ole Miss:
Evan Engram was a great player that I thought would be an early to mid second round player. I didn't know much about Engram until draft night. When the Giants selected him over tight end David Njoku who the team had raved about, I was surprised. I didn't know why the Giants would take a potential second rounder with their first round pick. Lately I have understood why. Engram looks like a monster. Njoku will be decent as he was selected later in the first round by the Browns and the first tight end off the board, O.J. Howard will also be good, but I now think Engram will be THE best out of the 3 first round tight ends. Lets first talk about Engram's body type.
Most tight ends are big bruisers that look like they are more buff O-lineman. If I didn't know, I would have thought Engram was a receiver. He is a big dude but he is as skinny as an average NFL receiver. He is fast but still plays like a tight end. This un-average body of Engram could be what sets him apart from average tight ends, and the greats. The greats of NFL tight ends this season for me include Rob Gronkowski (Patriots), Jimmy Graham (Seahawks), and Travis Kelce (Chiefs). Thats only 3 guys. After this year, there could be 4 which includes Engram. All of those guys are big bodied guys. Engram is skinny. Lets next talk about what he's been doing in the Giants first weeks of Organized Team Activities.
The whole Giants team has been raving about Engram. Every day that I check social sports media or NFL.com I always see some new report about how Evan Engram has been amazing during OTAs. He's reportedly been matching up with last year Defensive Player of the Year candidate Landon Collins in practice. Thats a gutty thing to do when you are a rookie. Pretty much every report about Engram in his early Giants days has been great. Also according to another report, Engram is running routes as well as the teams receivers. Lets think about that. The team has Odell Beckham, Brandon Marshall, and Sterling Shepard. All amazing receivers. Thats a big deal for him to be running routes as well as they are. Players say he has great hands and great seperation. The early reports on Engram are GREAT! Another thing that blows my mind is that he is as fast as a receiver. Lets next talk about
his college stats.
This year in college Engram really turned heads. He became a well known tight end in college football in just one year. 926 yards and 8 TDs. Thats pretty good for a college football tight end. In college tight ends don't get the ball as much and so for such a different tight end to get great stats like that its eye opening. Now looking back on the draft, it makes clear sense why the Giants picked him over David Njoku and possibly OJ Howard if they could have. Engram still has a lot of work to do but it looks as if he will be the teams starting tight end and will have a good shot at rookie of the year!

My Top 10 Players of 2016 (Part 2)
Hi, today you will find out my top 5 players of the year including no. 1. Some quick news that the Seahawks end rumors of signing Colin Kapenerick, sign QB Austin Davis. The 49ers also sign former star, veteran LB Elvis Dumervil. Here it is:
5. Vic Beasley, LB, Falcons:
Statline: 15.5 sacks, 6 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery:
Beasley became a phenom in year 2 with the Falcons. After a disappointing first season especially being the 8th overall pick, Beasley took it to the next level. He helped the Falcons D get to the Super Bowl and was a nightmare for opposing QBs. He LEAD the the league in sacks with 15.5! Thats huge! Beasley's 6 forced fumbles are also a great statline. Some people might have Defensive Player of the Year Khalil Mack ranked over him but I had Beasley as my choice for DPOY and so thats why I'm ranking him this high. Beasley stepped it up from a disappointing rookie, to a top 5 player in this league. He just barely cracks my top 5 of my annual list.
Last Year No. 5: J.J. Watt, DE, Texans
4. Matt Ryan, QB, Falcons:
Statline: 4944 yards, 38 TDs, 7 interceptions:
This years league MVP hits no. 4 on my list. After 9 decent, almost elite numbers, the Falcons didn't know if they were ever going to get something AMAZING from Ryan. Then 2016 happened. Matt Ryan stepped it up and really bonded with his offense and his offensive coordinator Kyle Shannahan. Ryan threw for almost 5000 yards and lead his career in yardage. He threw 38 TDs which is an insane amount that only elite QBs reach and thats the most TDs he's thrown in a season in his 10 year career by 6! Also under 10 interceptions is considered a great passing season. The league MVP of the season lead his team to a great, huge lead in the Super Bowl and then the whole team tired out and lost it but hey, at least he won MVP, got to the Super Bowl, and hit no. 4 on my list.
Last Year No. 4: Odell Beckham, WR, Giants
3. Aaron Rodgers, QB, Packers:
Statline: 4428 yards, 40 TDs, 7 intercpetions:
While the stats aren't much different from Matt Ryan's, Rodgers gets a rank higher than the MVP. Rodgers and the Packers were not doing well. They kept losing and losing and it looked like the Lions were going to win the division. Then Rodgers had a crazy end of the season and won a lot of games and in the final week of the season re-took the division right out from the Lions grasp. Going into the playoffs, the wildcard Packers team was still one of the top favorites to win the Super Bowl and they got closing, having a blowout loss in the NFC Championship vs the Falcons. Rodgers still played crazy. 4000 yard seasons are considered really good in the NFL and he also had 40 TDs which is A LOT! Again, anything under 10 interceptions on a season is remarkable and elite QB status and he got there. Rodgers turned the Packers into a force at the end of the year once again. He lands at no.
3 on my annual list.
Last Year No. 3: Marcus Peters, CB, Chiefs
2. Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Cowboys:
Statline: 1631 yards, 15 TDs, 5 Yards per carry:
As a rookie, Zeke Elliott had one of the most insane rushing seasons in awhile. Zeke was drafted 4th overall last year and he did not disappoint. When you are already a very skilled RB matched with the best O-line in football, its a great marriage. Zeke went all out. He lead the league in rushing with his 1600 yard season. Thats more than players like Le'Veon Bell, David Johnson, Adrian Peterson, LeSean McCoy, Todd Gurley, and other great experienced running backs. 15 TDs is also an insane number. Some people may think I am ranking Zeke way too high but I can't think of any players thats not a QB that was more talked about than Zeke. My favorite Zeke play was either one of his amazing hurdles or when he broke away from everyone in the final seconds of the Steelers game for the win. Ezekiel Elliott had an insane rookie year and his efforts get him to spot NUMBER TWO! In just his
rookie year...
Last Year No. 2: Luke Kuechly, LB, Panthers
1. (MY PLAYER OF THE YEAR) Tom Brady, QB, Patriots:
Statline: 3554 yards, 28 TDs, 2 interceptions:
The GOAT was the best player of the season. While Brady's stats weren't as insane as the other 2 QBs in this top 5, Brady had quite a season. He lead the Patriots to the best record in the AFC (again). He threw for 3500 yards which is pretty good especially for someone that old. He threw 28 TDs which is also really good. Only 2 interceptions has to be some sort of amazing record for someone that plays so many games and is that old. I'm sure Brady's stats would be even more crazy if he hadn't started the season out on a four game suspension. Brady's playoffs are what really pushed him to the very top. The Patriots blew out every opponent except for the Super Bowl. The Super Bowl was his best game of the year, possibly even his life. The Pats at one point were down 28-3. Everyone had counted them out including me. I even stopped watching even though everyone else still was. By the time it was the 4th quarter, I kept checking on the score and the Pats kept scoring and the Falcons didn't once. Brady was playing like a boss. By the last 5 minutes, I was glued to watching as Brady completed the best comeback I've ever seen. The Pats ended up forcing the first overtime in Super Bowl history and Brady rallied and won it. He tied legend Charles Haley for most Super Bowl rings at 5 and he won his 4th Super Bowl MVP. Brady is insane and was the player of the year!!!!
Last Year No. 1: Cam Newton, QB, Panthers
Thanks for reading the top 5 players of the year! See you next year with this post!

My Top 10 Players of 2016 (Part 1)
Hi, I did this same list at the end of last year and now I'm doing it again. Here are my top 10 players of the year but part 1 so players ten through six, the next post will be 5 through 1. I will also write which player was at the rank last year so at 10 for example I would write who is 10 this year and who was 10 last year. Here it is:
10. Janoris Jenkins, CB, Giants:
Statline: 3 interceptions, 18 passes defended, 44 tackles:
In my opinion, Jenkins rose from a CB2 on the Rams to the best cornerback in the league on the Giants. I loved watching him play and he lands on my top 10 players. People may think someone like Richard Sherman or Patrick Peterson was the best corner in the league, that can be their opinion but mine is Jenkins was the best. He turned Big Blue's defense from second worst in the league in 2015, to top 5 this season. Jenkins did need some help from people like Olivier Vernon, Landon Collins, and Damon Harrison but he really did convert this defense. He is an ELITE corner and I'm excited to
see him in year 2 with the Giants.
No. 10 Last Year: Tyler Lockett, WR, Seahawks
9. Julio Jones, WR, Falcons:
Statline: 1409 yards, 6 TDs, 83 receptions:
Julio Jones isn't my no. 1 ranked receiver going into next season, but he was THE best receiver in the league last season in my opinion. Jones exploded this year and helped QB Matt Ryan win MVP. His 15 yards per catch is insane. That pretty much means everytime he catches the ball, the team moves at least 15 yards. Thats a first down and then half another first down. Jones is so tall that any ball is easy for him to catch. Even though the Falcons blew a huge lead in the Super Bowl, Jones made some spectacular catches that everyone forgot about just because of Julian Edleman's catch. Jones was the best receiver in the league last season and spot 9 seems just right.
No. 9 Last Year: Eric Berry, S, Chiefs
8. Derek Carr, QB, Raiders:
Statline: 3937 yards, 28 TDs, 6 interceptions:
Carr had his best season yet of his career and had a shot at MVP. Sadly he suffered a season ending injury in the 2nd to last week of the season which ruined his chances at the award and his teams chances at a playoff run. Carr looked like an elite QB for the first time in his career and his team really benefitted. Carr was an MVP candidate like I said and his play of the year was actually a drive, in overtime against the Buccaneers he lead his team on a dangerous path to finally the win. Carr became a great player last year and comes in at spot 8!
No. 8 Last Year: Rob Gronkowski, TE, Patriots
7. Landon Collins, S, Giants:
Statline: 5 interceptions, 100 tackles, 4 sacks, 1 TD:
Landon Collins in year 1 was a whole different player than year 2 Landon Collins. In year 1, Collins looked like a huge draft bust that the Giants had drafted way too early. Now he looks like he should have been drafted a LOT higher. Landon Collins became an elite player in 2016 and the best safety in football. He made in my opinion, THE play of the year. He picked off a pass and then juked at least 5 guys, broke tackles and made his way from the half field mark to the endzone. His 5 interceptions were tied for 5th most in the league. That was pretty good. 100 single tackles is an amazing stat and the fact he got off 4 sacks when you are the farthest back position on defense is pretty good. Landon Collins was a top 10 player in the league this year. He lands at 7 on my yearly list. Watch Collins play https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_cEXuNyBUJA
of the year:
No. 7 Last Year: Larry Fitzgerald, WR, Cardinals
6. Khalil Mack, LB/DE, Raiders:
Statline: 11 sacks, 5 forced fumbles, 3 fumble recoveries, 1 interception:
This seasons defensive player of the year lands at no. 6 on my top 10 players of the year list. 'Sack' Mack had one of the craziest defensive seasons we have ever seen. He played 2 positions and was the first player ever to go all-pro in 2 positions! Thats crazy! All-pro is a list of players that get voted on at the best at their positions and they get named all-pro and that means Mack is one of the best at both of his positions. Mack caused a lot of damage with 11 sacks and 5 forced fumbles. He even had an interception. He can really do it all and thats what you need to see from the defensive player of the year. While he was the defensive player of the year, he isn't the highest ranked defensive player on my list. I will post the top 5 part of my list tomorrow and see who is ranked above him.
No. 6 Last Year: Von Miller, LB, Broncos
Thanks for reading and make sure to stay tuned for my TOP 5 PLAYERS OF THE YEAR post probably tomorrow and find out who cracks my top 5.

Landing Spots for Jeremy Maclin
Hi, today the Chiefs shocked the league by releasing stud receiver Jeremy Maclin. The move did make some sense as he wasn't as good last year and he costed a lot of money and the Chiefs needed some more money. They saved a lot with the cut. Here are some landing spots for Maclin:
San Fransisco 49ers:
The Niners don't have a big threat WR1 on the team which may become a problem. Pierre Garcon may be the no. 1 receiver on the team and he is only decent. The Niners would love to bring an experienced threat onto the team that could walk in as the WR1. He would be perfect here.
Tennessee Titans:
The Titans would be another team that would totally love having him. A young Titans team/receiving core could use an experienced veteran to lead them to the playoffs. Maclin could become the WR1 on the team while Corey Davis would play WR2 but still get the ball a lot. Maclin would be a great spot here.
New York Jets:
They have NO ONE at receiver right now. Eric Decker is great but he is not a WR1, he is more like a WR2. Jeremy Maclin could help whichever bad QB the Jets a lot. Again, he would walk into the WR1 role and I think he could make a great part of this offense.
Baltimore Ravens:
This is the most popular move. In the mere hours he has been a free agent, everyone has been saying he should/will go to the Ravens. Ravens safety Tony Jefferson even tweeted at Maclin to tell him to come. He would fit in with Breshad Perriman and Mike Wallace and maybe he would take the bigger role over both of them. This seems to be the move most likely to happen.
Los Angeles Rams:
With Kenny Britt gone for Cleveland, the QB struggling Rams are trusting bust receiver Robert Woods to take the receiving reigns of the team. That is a receipe for disaster. With Maclin, he could take the WR1 and give Jared Goff a great threat target. Goff will have never played with such a good receiver before and it may be just the right thing to help him develop. Getting Goff a new WR1 with threat abilities is a step in the right direction for the flailing Rams.
Chicago Bears:
The Bears do have a LOT of promising receivers on the team but they also don't have a stud, maybe even elite receiver. If they brought in Maclin, Mike Glennon and Mitch Trubisky will have a great target to get their careers started. Maclin could again be the WR1 of the team and I think the Bears offense would benefit from having him.
Arizona Cardinals:
Other then aging Larry Fitzgerald, the Cards have NO ONE at receiver. Maclin could come in, play behind Larry at WR2 and give Carson Palmer a really good receiving core to end out his career. The Cards would love a younger stud that can catch balls very well and has a star ability to him. This match could end up becoming hell for opposing defenses. WATCH OUT!
Thanks for reading and I'm excited to see where Maclin goes!

Early Top 10 WR for 17'
Hi, today I am going to be making a list of my top 10 receivers going into the season. Which 10 receivers I think will be the best going into next year. Here it is:
10. Tyreek Hill, Chiefs:
Starting the list off with a bang, the most electric and fast player of 2016. He can do it all and I could see him making a climb on this list. Alex Smith is a great passer and I think the team will try to use Hill even more, especially in the passing game.
9. Dez Bryant, Cowboys:
About a year and a half ago, everyone would be surprised to see Bryant this far down the list. He has really plummeted as a top WR but I think Dak Prescott will use him a lot this year and he could be considered ELITE after this season.
8. DeAndre Hopkins, Texans:
After an amazing 2015, Hopkins slumped with bad QB play in 2016. Now that the team has a young star in Deshaun Watson, Hopkins could bond with the young QB and they might become a great young duo. We will have to see.
7. Terrelle Pryor, Redskins:
He is a top 2 funnest receivers to watch. The recently QB converted receiver phenom has become a big name throughout the league and the new no. 1 in Washington won't disappoint with a great QB!
6. Michael Thomas, Saints:
After a breakout 1000 yard rookie season, Thomas will become the no. 1 target in a Saints passing offense with Brandin Cooks gone. Thomas was a huge target last year and I think he has a chance at playing BETTER this year. Thats saying something.
5. Mike Evans, Buccaneers:
After an elite 2016, Evans will repeat and play even better. Jameis Winston is going to be relaxed this year with a lot of passing targets and so he won't be as rushed to get a rushed pass off to Evans. Evans will repeat as a great receiver.
4. A.J. Green, Bengals:
Green was playing better than anyone in the league last year before a big injury. Green will not get the ball AS much this year with speedster John Ross on the team but I think he will be again a top receiver in football.
3. Antonio Brown, Steelers:
People have AB always as they're no. 1, while I do think he is good, he will take a fall on my list. The best receiver of last year will have to split targets with all the young pass catchers on the team. Mart Bryant and Juju Smith. Brown will be a superstar, but not best in the league.
2. Julio Jones, Falcons:
Jones was a very exciting player last year making so many insane catches. He was the biggest reason Matt Ryan won MVP and he will repeat and become a top 3 receiver in the league again. I love watching Jones because he is a one on one coverage nightmare and I love seeing him dominate tiny corners that aren't expecting him to be as good as he is.
1. Odell Beckham, Giants:
My favorite player in football is always top 2 on my list. He is always good and he is so explosive and Eli Manning's favorite target that it is SO hard to bet against him. I could see AB or Julio out-doing him but he is an elite player in my mind and I see him getting to the top of the receiver battle.
Honorable Mentions: Amari Cooper Raiders, John Ross Bengals, Doug Baldwin Seahawks, Jordy Nelson Packers
