Ranking the NFL Head Coaches

Hi, I usually rank players but today I am ranking my top 10 head coaches in the league. If a new head coach makes the list it means I thought they were good in whatever role they had on their other team and if I think they will be good on their new team. Here it is:

10. Sean McVay, Rams:
I can't put him very high up on this list because he is one of the new head coaches. He is one of the youngest coaches EVER and some players on the team will be older then him. He looks like a young Gruden coach and he is set up to become a great coach.

9. Kyle Shannahan, 49ers:
My favorite staff signing of the year, the Niners got lucky enough to snag top notch former Falcons offensive coordinator for the team. He won Assistant Coach of the year this past year and has a great leadership confidence about him. He should become one of the best coaches in the league.

8. Mike McCarthy, Packers:
The Packers coach has lead this team to so many great apperances, a super bowl, and has turned Aaron Rodgers into the stud he is. Without him, who knows what this Packers team could look like. They may not have been nearly as good.

7. Jason Garrett, Cowboys:
I personally am not a fan of Garrett but he is a great coach. He won coach of the year this past year which is an honor and he has made a super Cowboys team. He is an ace at drafting snagging Zeke, Dak Prescott, and other great players in the last few years. Garrett is the rock of the Cowboys.

6. Andy Reid, Chiefs:
Andy Reid went from a bad coach that was fired from the Eagles to a top notch, "elite" coach. Reid has been responsible for the Chiefs dominance in the last 2 years and he keeps making moves that is making his team better an better.

5. Dan Quinn, Falcons:
Quinn really became a top of the line coach after this year. He turned a sad team into a Super Bowl runner up powerhouse. He had confidence in his team and with the help of Kyle Shannahan, turned Matt Ryan into an MVP. Quinn also made his running back core one of the best in football. Quinn has become a great coach for a superb Falcons team.

4. Jack Del Rio, Raiders:
Del Rio was my pick for coach of the year after this year. He really converted a halfway decent Raiders football team into a playoff powerhouse that would have gone deep if turned star QB Derek Carr didn't get hurt. Rio made risks that could have devestated the team but ended up really paying off like important 2 point conversions.

3. Mike Tomlin, Steelers:
Tomlin has the best bond with his players in the league. Thats what makes a great coach. The team loves him. He is a former football player that lays a sturdy hand on a Steelers team that has some of the best talent in the league. Tomlin has really been great for this Steelers team and the whole team LOVES him.

2. Pete Carroll, Seahawks:
Carroll has bounced around football, but landed with the flying high Hawks for the best stage yet of his career. Carroll has turned a young, broken Seahawks team into a bonded core of amazing young players. He took a chance on Russell Wilson and it payed off. He took a chance with Richard Sherman and it paid off. Carroll makes his team have a different mentality than others. At practices instead of saying "Wow, get better" when someone drops a pass, Carroll goes, "Its ok, we're getting better at this". He is a very incouraging leader for a great team.

1. Bill Belichick, Patriots:
The longtime Pats coach is maybe the best coach ever and currently un-doubtly the best coach in football. Belichick has lead the best team in football for years. He got them many Super Bowl rings with likely many more to come. He is said to be willing to coach for many mores years. He helped take the chance on Tom Brady. He brought stars like Randy Moss, Darrelle Revis, LeGarrette Blount, Malcolm Butler, Rob Gronkowski, and many more stars to New England. He has been the best coach for awhile.

Thanks for reading.
