Franchise or Fo

Hi, today I'm going to be doing a thing called franchise or fo. I will write a QB who is young or unproven or someone like Kirk Cousins that wants franchise QB money and write if I think they are a franchise player or a fake (fo). You'll see how it works:

(Remember, all of these players are QBs)

Tyrod Taylor, Bills: FRANCHISE:
Look, a lot of people, even Bills staff members don't see 'Rod as the teams future, I personally believe he is the future of the team. His ability to run and pass so well is a gift and reminds me of players like Russell Wilson but faster almost like Mike Vick. He is a better runner than possibly any other QB in the league which is saying something and he can still sling the ball down the field. Maybe if the Bills don't believe in him another team will if somehow he leaves the Bills after this season. He is a franchise QB.

Dak Prescott, Cowboys: FO:
WOOOAHHHH! Most people think Dak is the future of the Cowboys and maybe even a future MVP, I see the bench in a few years for Dak. He is a fo in disguise. His rookie year was so promising and he won rookie of the year and drew all of these comparisons but I don't think Dak is a franchise QB. It was his rookie year, people were caught off guard with his high level rookie QB play but now they have an entire off-season to watch his tape and prepare for him. Dak won't have much to do when teams aren't caught by surprise with his play. While most of you think Dak is a franchise player, he is a fo.

Trevor Siemian, Broncos: FO:
Even though Paxton Lynch is likely the Broncos long term option, Siemian is also a young passer who had a great first year and has people high on his skills. However, he is a fo. Players can randomly have good years when they are secretly not the best players. Siemian for some reason just doesn't play the way I would think a franchise QB would play like. Siemian may get the starting job week 1, but I don't know how many mores game he'll be starting.

Carson Wentz, Eagles: FRANCHISE:
Wentz is going to be a quality starter for years to come for the Eagles. In his first season, Wentz surprised everyone as he lead the Eagles to a great start and played very well. He slowed down a bit but by the end of the year, even though his team didn't make the playoffs, he was consistently very good. I like his game. The way he scrambles a lot but can throw on the run well. He has some areas to improve on but he has a whole 'nother off-season to prepare and I think Wentz will be even better this year and keep improving. Wentz is a franchise QB.

Kirk Cousins, Redskins: FRANCHISE:
This is one of the bigger questions that everyone is wondering. Is Kirk Cousins a franchise QB and worth a big deal? The answer is yes. Cousins has displayed everything you would like to see in a future franchise QB and if the Redskins keep giving him these 1 year deals, he will ditch and go ball out for another team. His stats last year were 4917 yards, 25 TDs, and only 12 picks. Thats really good. His yardage is insane and he is some people's prediction to lead the league in passing yards this year. Now he also has Terrelle Pryor, an amazing huge target to work with. Cousins is a franchise player!

Blake Bortles, Jaguars: FO:
Bortles is another player who people really wonder if they are a franchise player or not. I think not!! Bortles did have a super promising 2015 season but last year in 2016 Bortles was HORRID and regressed SO much. Bortles' roster was good enough for him to do well and he still didn't. Now its even better and if he is the one holding the Jags back from the playoffs that I feel like they can for sure make, he's gotta go. Bortles is a fo!

Jimmy Garopollo, Patriots: FRANCHISE:
Sure, Garopollo only played 3 games last year, but he looked like a franchise QB for every second of it. He didn't throw a single interception, 4 TDs, and 504 yards. 3 games. Thats pretty good. Garopollo has learned behind the best QB ever in Tom Brady his entire career and now is his last season under his rookie deal. The future franchise QB will have a frenzy of offers if he hits the open market but the Patriots will try to sign him to a long extension to be Brady's eventual successor. Jimmy G is a franchise QB that is stuck for at least 1 more year on the bench.

Jared Goff, Rams: FO:
This is probably what everyone thinks but its obvious. Goff was SO bad when he played last year and I honestly can't see what one off-season could do to change that. After this season its also said that if Goff is bad, the Rams will move on and in just 2 short bad years, Goff could be DONE. He will need to prove hard this season that he can be good for the next at least 3 years because if you think Goff is a franchise QB, he should at least be a quality starter for 3+ seasons. Goff doesn't look like he will be that.

Thanks for reading. Here are some quick answers:
