Hi, today I am doing a post on Cowboys backup running back Darren McFadden. You're probably wondering why I am doing a post on the backup running back McFadden but you will find out:
Darren McFadden is a player that most people know from his days in Oakland but now McFadden isn't anything but a backup running back for the Cowboys. Here's why you need to know about McFadden ASAP. Ezekiel Elliott is the unquestioned starting running back in Dallas. He lead the
league in rushing last season and made every team worried about him. Zeke also had no injury concerns at all in his first season despite playing so much. BUT you need to know that Ezekiel Elliott is under an investigation about if he needs to be suspended because of his recent domestic violence. Thats a pretty big deal. The league is going to have to suspend Zeke at least 2 games, but if that happens, some players will be outraged. Most of the time, domestic violence is about a 6 game suspension and if Zeke only got 2 games, it would be a big deal for the players that have gotten suspended 6. This is now where Darren McFadden comes in. If you are building your fantasy team now or soon, you have to know about Darren McFadden. He is usually undrafted in most fantasy leagues. You need to start drafting him even in just the final round of the draft. If Zeke gets suspended even 2 games, McFadden will assume almost ALL of the running back touches. If it lasts 2 games, thats alright. You still got a running back who scored you probably at least 10 points a game. If he gets suspended 6, you are loving it! McFadden will get 6 games to run behind the best line in the league and rack you up some serious points! After the suspension is up, McFadden won't be much but a bench player that gets around 2 points a game. Don't think about dropping him though because if Zeke does get hurt, McFadden will be thrust right back into play and you can put him in your lineup the next week. While fantasy season is still awhile away, you need to start knowing who to draft and McFadden will be the best 15th, 16th round pick you will get. He can become a really big point racker upper for the amount of time Zeke is gone. Make sure to watch out for Darren McFadden! He is like the Cowboys version of DeAngelo Williams!
Thanks for reading.
