2014 NFL Draft RE-DO Part 2

Hi, today I am going to finish my 2014 NFL Draft re-do. Some quick news that QB Ben Roethlisberger announced he will in fact not retire and play the 2017 NFL season. Also make sure to vote for Season awards by pressing this: Vote Here
Here is the second part of the first round:

17 overall: Ravens take C.J. Mosley, LB (SAME): The Ravens had a spot on pick here. Mosley has looked super reliable in his first few years and I don't think the Ravens would take anyone different.

18 overall: Jets take Devonta Freeman, RB (originally taken rd. 4, 103rd overall) instead of S Calvin Pryor: The Jets have had running back problems their last few seasons and Freeman has been an elite running back.

19 overall: Dolphins take Joe Bitonio, OT (originally taken rd. 2, 35th overall) instead of OT Jawaun James: Bitonio has been a reliable O-lineman while James has been on and off. I would take reliable any day of the week and Bitonio is beginning to blossom into a great O-lineman.

20 overall: Saints take Sammy Watkins, WR (originally taken rd. 1, 4th overall) instead of WR Brandin Cooks: Watkins has to fall somewhere and the Saints are the team the receiver who looks like a bust will go to. Watkins could be the future of this offense and give Drew Brees a primetime target.

21 overall: Packers take Deone Buccanon, S (originally take rd. 1, 27th overall) instead of S Ha Ha Clinton-Dix: The team takes Buccanon over Clinton-Dix, Buccanon has been great for the Cardinals as he can also be an explosive LB. Buccanon can do it all for the Packers.

22 overall: Browns take Blake Bortles, QB (originally taken rd. 1, 3rd overall) instead of QB Johnny Manziel: Manziel has had legal troubles and has been horrible. He is a free agent right now. Bortles had an insanely good season 2 seasons ago but regressed greatly this past year. Still he is young and can prove himself to the most QB needy team in football.

23 overall: Chiefs take Jadeveon Clowney, DE (originally take rd. 1, 1st overall) instead of DE Dee Ford: The real no. 1 overall pick falls down to here. Clowney has been a bust until this season where he had an insane breakout pro bowl season and if he keeps playing well who knows how much higher he will be if we looked at this draft class in a year from now.

24 overall: Bengals take Kyle Fuller, CB (originally take rd. 1, 14th overall) instead of CB Darqueze Denard: Fuller does look like a bust but has shown glimpses of greatness at times. The Bengals do really need CB help and Fuller looks like a decent pickup.

25 overall: Chargers take Allen Robinson, WR (originally taken rd. 2, 61st overall) instead of CB Jason Verrett: Verrett is an important piece of the franchise but with him taken, the Chargers will take their WR help in A Rob.

26 overall: Eagles take Jeremy Hill, RB (originally taken rd. 2, 55th overall) instead of LB Marcus Smith: The Eagles have had RB troubles lately and Jeremy Hill has looked elite at times, the Eagles will try to find their RB of the future with this pick.

27 overall: Cardinals take Ha Ha Clinton-Dix (originally taken rd. 1, 21st overall) instead of S Deone Buccannon: The Cards and Packers will basically switch picks and safeties here. Buccannon was nice for this defense but Clinton-Dix has shown to be an elite safety at times. The Cards won't be disappointed taking Dix.

28 overall: Panthers take Jordan Matthews (originally taken rd. 2, 42nd overall) instead of WR Kelvin Benjamin: Its a huge hit to the franchise not being able to take Kelvin Benjamin again but Matthews looks like he is close to striking gold and becoming an elite receiver. Maybe it will click with the Panthers.

29 overall: Patriots take Dominque Easley (SAME): The Patriots nailed it here. Easley has been pretty good at times and the Patriots will keep their same guy.

30 overall: 49ers take Jimmie Ward (SAME): The Niners selected a good piece of their defense here by taking the young Ward. I've got to hand it to them that this is a great pick.

31 overall: Broncos take Trai Turner (originally taken rd. 3, 92nd overall) instead of CB Bradley Robey: The Broncos biggest need has been O-line. The rest of their team looks gold. This would solve a huge need by drafting the pro bowl o-lineman.

FINALLY 32 overall: Vikings take A.J. McCarron (originally taken rd. 5, 164th overall) instead of QB Teddy Bridgewater: Even though the Vikings can't take Teddy, McCarron has looked really good playing a lot last year and coming into this year he looks like he can become a starter. The Vikings will test him out.

Thanks for reading this and if you missed part 1, go and read it!
